24.01.2022 Some VERY exciting news from the DataFarming camp! We're getting set to provide sub 1m satellite images of your summer crops at industry low rates. With NDVI and PCD. Check out: https://go.datafarming.com.au/highres #agriculture #horticulture #viticulture #farmmap #NDVI

22.01.2022 Doing some interesting work for Appticon looking at long term productivity zones in large pasture enterprises. We use our Stack product to look at 5 years of NDVI together to get 5 zones - and the results are very cool (we think anyway!). Looking forward to seeing how this relates to other data.

21.01.2022 Don't pay for #NDVI satellite imagery this season - use DataFarming's FREE 10x10m satellite imagery. Track crop health and pinpoint issues, with images updated every 5 days. Start mapping now! https://maps.datafarming.com.au/#/

17.01.2022 Our data scientist doing some very cool image classifications today - automatically detecting crop type for a client. Artistic output - worthy of hanging in the national gallery !! #crop #datascientist #innovation #machinelearning

17.01.2022 Do you grow horticulture, rice, cotton, or viticulture crops? Our 50cm ultra-high resolution satellite imagery can monitor your crops from space. The price is the same as last season @ $10/ha+GST for at least 3 captures during the growing season. You can order directly through the platform maps.datafarming.com.au . We also have a YouTube video showing the ordering process. https://youtu.be/SUi7f7lV468 . If you have any questions please contact [email protected]

16.01.2022 Very excited about this partnership. Getting adoption of technology is key for us - mainstream everyday use not complicated software.

14.01.2022 Our STACK product is a really simple tool to get started with zoning up paddocks. Based on 5 years NDVI imagery (u select), sets the paddocks into 5 zones. In this example client is using it for VR seed and Gypsum. Contact [email protected] to unlock this feature.

14.01.2022 September has been a huge month at DataFarming, with some big wins that will ultimately allow us to expand our product capability for you! https://www.datafarming.com.au/precision-ag-news-13-sep/

12.01.2022 Feeling very proud of our MD and Founder Tim Neale as he pitches at the Rabobank TERRA Innovation Accelerator in San Fran this week. It was an honour to get a seat on this year's global program, joining 19 other ag innovators from around the world.

12.01.2022 We have been working hard on developing a polygon dataset of every paddock boundary in Australia (derived from satellite imagery), with support from our team, FrontierSI and Geoscience Australia. Whilst the dataset needs some refining, we are getting close, and once complete we can run the #machinelearning model annually if needed. Looking forward to working with Alan Thomson, Food Agility , Jonathan Medway and Brendon McAtee and to make this data widely available to our colleagues.

10.01.2022 For those interested in pastures, see the attached green pasture biomass maps for the month of August 2020 we did for Kondinin Group

10.01.2022 Our new sub 1m high res images are available to order now in time for summer! As you can see on the left, where free 10m images give a good overall viewpoint, high res will pick up issues that are hard to detect at ground-level, by allowing you see much finer details. https://go.datafarming.com.au/highres

09.01.2022 Great units these - incredible accuracy and ease of use.

07.01.2022 A cool animation of how satellite imagery is captured. It's a scanner, not a camera. Earth rotates, satellite in fixed orbit. Set 185 km swath width. One orbit every ~99 minutes, 15 orbits/day, complete global coverage in 16 days. Image & repeat. Source for full video: https://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/11481

07.01.2022 Proud as punch of our MD Tim Neale who picked up the Pearcey Award for ICT Entrepreneurship in Queensland last night! Top stuff Tim. We know how much you care about the work and creating good outcomes for producers. #precisionagriculture #agtech

04.01.2022 Our MD Tim Neale has just wrapped a great few days training CRT agronomists in the finer details of #precisionag and sensors. Thanks to Pinpoint Ag, GoannaAg and CaseIH WidelandAg.

03.01.2022 6 metre swaths certainly give nice maps with SWATBOX
