20.01.2022 Where the hell is she!!! It’s a common frustration and a statement frequently expressed at events. What’s really being asked, is ‘where do I find the right one for me’? When do I ask the obvious questions such as where are you currently looking? How do you spend your free time? or Where to you hang out? I’m often told I don’t get out often or I don’t go clubbing or dancing anymore or the kids keep me busy so I don’t have much time to socialise.... This is a tricky situation for most singles. If you are hoping to find The One, you aren’t going to find them by circulating in your current environments. The cold hard truth is this. you have to put yourself into new situations and make new friends. However, to be invited to social events where you will get the opportunity to expand your circle further you have to build trust with the first person first. Does that make sense? 18.01.2022 The particularly charming gentleman in this photo has given me a lot to think about for this blog. Not only is the topic well outside of my scope of expertise, finding the answers to why we are afraid of different people and summarizing into a non-scincoid manner has been a challenge. I often hear sweeping statements about the opposite sex. Why do women constantly dissect dates? Why don’t men seem to care about first dates? Neither is right and neither is wrong, we just t...hink differently. When we think of disabilities, we often sweep them all into similar categories. 16.01.2022 Have you ever gone on a date and wondered why on earth did I agree to meet with them. Maybe you had reservations originally but you thought to yourself why not give them a chance’? Perhaps you just didn’t have enough information from them to know whether it would be a good idea or not. Or they may have just turned out to be completely the opposite of what you first thought them to be like.... Why does this happen time after time, though? Where do all of these time wasting, FAKE daters come from? And more importantly, how do they manage to sneak past our radars? It can feel like an ALIEN invasion!!! 08.01.2022 It’s a classic, you meet a guy and it’s going swimmingly then he drops the horrible, I’m still getting over a relationship with my ex grenade Seriously, why do men (and women) get themselves into this situation? It’s not hard to work out if you’re over them or not. You simply think of them and if... * It makes you feel sad, you’re not over them. * You feel angry, you’re not over them. * It makes you think about having sex with them... you’re definitely not over them. There is a multitude of ‘feelings’ that you can generate when you think of your ex. If they are not positive, futuristic, or at peace, then you’re not over them. 07.01.2022 I'm Just Not That Interested In You... Yes, my phone is working fine, but I’m too busy, bored, self-indulged, or scared to tell you why our date was crappy. The truth is, I’m too afraid to admit any of the above to myself, so I’m just going to blame you and make it your fault.... You were such a ‘loser’ that I’m not going to explain myself to you.
