On Sunday's Children Class both higher and lower level kids had a chance to read with their teacher and they showed great improevment and many achievements. Sunday's adult class has started their journey to the Chinese language world. Great adventures are waiting for them. If you have missed out on any of these classes, you may like to consider next term to give it a try. No classes next week due to the Easter holiday. The class will resume the week after (week 10).

10.01.2022 Copying is an effective way to learn Chinese word but it can be hard for student. A paper with a beautiful pattern can be more appealing for students to practise. (Work samples from Friday children class).

02.01.2022 qing1 ming2 jie2 is a festival to remember and pay respect to deceased family members and ancestors. It reinforces the ethic of filial piety, and therefore become one of the eight major Chinese traditional festivals. ‘’qing1means "clear" or "pure" and ‘‘(ming2) means"bright". The festival is an occasion for the family to visit and sweep the graves of their forebears. It is also an opportunity for the family to enjoy early spring outside in the countryside, playing ...on swings, flying kites (to repel sickness), wearing willow leaves (to repel evil spirit), and eating (qing1 tuan2), a special rice flour delicacy for the season. Today I saw some students who thoroughly enjoyed the kite flying at the playground. I hope you too have had a good time. All classes resume this week. We’ll have Friday class 3.30-5.30, Sunday Children class 3.00-5.00, and Sunday adult class 3.00-5.00. See you at school.
