Her lessons to courageous women committed to the greater good are: 1. Believe in your heart and mind what you are doing is worth the effort it will take... 2. For four leaders with different life stories there was a lot of synergy. Not really surprising. All senior women. This panel discussion event was co-developed with The Mandarin and we focussed on whether or not the practice of leadership needed to change. I think we all agreed the answer was yes, for men and women. More collaborative, inclusive, legacy minded, trusted with assets. 04.01.2022 As we move past the crisis point of the pandemic, with our surge energy wildly depleted, wellness is emerging as a focus for individuals, teams, leaders, organisations and countries. Many (most) people have and/or continue to have bouts of anxiety (fear). This places a significant strain on our psychological wellbeing and so our recovery (however that plays out for us). This is a reminder on the power of purpose (the ‘why’ for we do) and values (what’s important to us and how it shows up in behaviour) as the bedrock of wellbeing. 01.01.2022 The conversation about women in leadership and the true impediments to advancing (evident in this film in STEMM but frankly common to all women) is a critical conversation at Board, Exec team, Senior Leaders, Team Leaders and Frontline level. We can never be wholly well as a planet and as a people if we don't make this transition. Our world has changed.
