20.01.2022 I can remember learning about Robert Kiyosakis Cashflow Quadrant when I was still employed in the Bank pre 2000. Rich Dad Poor Dad had some great views, concepts and insight into how money work but I had a Bankers mindset. It took a few years working for myself to really understand and appreciate the value of the book and Kiyosakis perspectives.... At the time he was all about Property and Precious Metals (Gold etc). Times have changed and whilst his views remain the same he has expanded his asset recommendations.
19.01.2022 I am amazed every day how life can take strange turns without warning and that everyone is impacted in different ways. In 2001, September 11th to be precise, Stuart, myself and many others left a great promotional workshop at the Hyatt in Perth only to witness the destruction of the World Trade Centre on the bar TV. We should have been having celebrator drinks and planning the next phase of this new business enterprise. Well that didnt go down well.... Fast forward to 2020 and circumstances have reconnected us. Many past contacts and projects have been and gone but it had been a while since we had spoken. I had my issues to deal with and unbeknown to me Stuart had endured (survived) his own life challenges. I am pretty amazed at Stuarts new book. Having shared with a few close friends and had great feedback I just wanted to shout a bit louder so maybe a few other people might benefit personally or use it as a gift for someone they care about. For me its a book to give away. I can comfortably give it to friend or colleague with a message to pass it on to someone in need; knowing full well that it may just be them that gains the benefit either through the words or the giving.

The first project we collaborated on was Guerrilla Marketing when I had not long before left the Bank and started my Business/Management Consulting business - Focused Management. A solid week of marketing gave us a group of over 500 people attending a seminar presentation at the Hyatt in Perth.... After an exciting presentation by Stuart we headed to the bar at around 9.30/10.00 pm for a debrief. The focus of all the patrons was on the TV showing the World Trade Centre a blaze. It was September 11, 2001. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then. Some gentle flowing water and some turbulent for us both.
