04.01.2022 You need to get somebody who knows what they’re doing! This is what happens when someone who doesn’t know their stuff, creates a highly dangerous situation & i...ncorrectly installs a natural gas cook top to an LPG supply! The Range hood and Cupboards were heat affected. 3 years later I was contacted and got it sorted for the tenants. I cannot believe it was installed and left this way; but then again I can. There are people that don’t know their stuff and others like a cheap price, but hey what’s a house worth? So correct sized burner jets installed and natural gas regulator removed from the LPG line. Now it’s safe and no longer a flame thrower!

01.01.2022 Plumbing in the Antarctica Plumbing saw me over winter at Davis Base Antarctica, these Auroral snaps were taken looking over the sea ice at 11.30 p.m. in -32oC. I’d snap away on the cable release trigger, trying different exposure times until The lense on trusty 35 mm SLR camera would freeze open. I’d place the cap over the lense, plastic bag over the camera and trudge back indoors watching the tripod frost up from the indoor moisture. I’d drift off to sleep hearing the Click as the thawing shutter closed. No digital camera’s back then giving an instant result; Until the results were developed in the darkroom; the outcome was an unknown!
