25.01.2022 I have a Plan!!! Craft breweries don't have boardrooms, their owners normally have huge debts, not salary packages and usually get around in a Ute or Van, not a luxury car. They make most of their money selling kegs to bars and pubs or selling it by the glass in their taprooms. ... At the moment they can't do that so here is the plan...... Those of us that are lucky enough to still have a steady income buy at least a 6 pack or growler fill from a local brewery each week till this crisis is over. Take a photo and put it up on facebook and bully your mates into doing the same. If you cant get it from the brewery direct or online, get it from an independant bottleshop, not one with a corporate headquarters. By doing this you not only get to try some awesome beers but you help keep an industry alive!! To kick it off I popped into the Flatrock Cafe and picked up some Pale Ales so Good Friday's lockdown is sorted!!! #buyabeertokeepthemhere.

24.01.2022 We will be opening again for 2021 at 10am today!!!!

22.01.2022 People are still asking if we are open so:- Our hours are back to normal. We have had to stop importing the live White Labs yeast as international air freight is still unreliable. Most of our stock is OK but some items are stil hard to get so if you are after something specific, call first.... Dave

21.01.2022 My modem appears to have decided to work part time and has been fading in and out all morning. If you have tried calling and can't get through or have emailed and not got an answer, try again as the modem is working at the moment.

21.01.2022 We have loads of Fresh Wort Kits from both All Inn Brewing and Caseys brewery. $50 with yeast, ($65 for the double IPA). Call us on 9460 0526 if you are after some.

Don't worry if you run out of beer when we are closed!!! You can order online and I pop in once or twice a week to post them out to keep you drinking. ... 17.01.2022 I have a customer that has around 5 dozen bottles, mostly swing tops, a couple of fermenters and other assorted brewing stuff he no longer needs. If you are interested in picking up some free bottles and gear, email me at [email protected] for more details.

16.01.2022 Due to the lockdown delivery to the Northern Beaches is free until the Government releases you. We will also be doing "click and collect" for you. Call or order online and we will have everything ready for collection Christmas Eve between 10 and 1pm. We are closed today, open 10 till 5 Tuesday, 10 till 5 Wednesday and 10 till 1 Thursday then closed till the 19th of Jan. Dave

13.01.2022 Here we are another week into lockdown and I am actually looking forward to a 3 hour drive to deliver a grainfather because I get out of Sydney for a while. This week I went to my local bottle shop to hunt down some craft brews and bought some of Waywards Everyday Pale Ale. You dont have to go to the brewery to get good beer, you just have to know where to look. So as I have ranted before, if you are still lucky enough to be working grab a six pack, or more, of your favourite beer each week to help your local independant breweries. If we all drink through this together your favoutite breweries should still be around when this ends!!!

10.01.2022 Shop update. We are open still as an online business but can now have people pop in to collect your orders if you organise it in advance. You can order off the website, via phone or email and we will contact you when your order is ready to collect. If you don’t want to collect we are still offering free delivery to the Sydney Metro area. Australia Post is struggling under the increased load so it may take a while to get to you so be patient. Our main problem at the moment is ...the availability of some imported stock items but most of our products are still OK. Dave

07.01.2022 Remember last week when I went off on a rant about buying beer to keep small breweries open??? The plan is for those of us lucky enough to still have a regular income to buy at least a 6 pack a week from a local craft brewery or pick up a local brew from an independent bottle shop, and post a photo of it in an attempt to shame your mates into doing the same. This way there will still be breweries up and running when this shit fight is over. This week I was lazy and instead o...f going out I got my local brewery to deliver. A couple of minutes on Facebook messenger and a phone call was all it took and Dion from Ekimbrewing.com.au delivered a dozen beers to my door. I was just going to get 6 but when I saw spiced rum porter as well as one of my favorite IPS's it quickly became 12. So if you can treat your self and help keep our breweries going!!! See more

06.01.2022 We are now back to normal, (almost), as a shop. We are now open our usual hours although we can only have one person in the shop at a time to keep the Social Distancing Police happy. Normal delivery fees apply with free delivery in the Sydney Metro area starts at $120.00.

05.01.2022 Now that the government is easing restrictions and allowing us to sit in traffic jams again it’s time for the shop to return to normal, whatever that is. Starting Tuesday the shop will be open normal hours again, the main difference being we can only have one person in at a time due to the fact it’s hard to do social distancing in a shop that is basically a maze. We will still be doing deliveries and online orders but free delivery for orders in the Sydney Metro area will be back to orders over $120.

05.01.2022 Casey's Wort Kits Picked up a load of Fresh Wort Kits from Casey's this morning. We have Amarillo ale, Juicy XPA, Kolsch, Wheat, Pilsner, Black lager, APA, and the new Mexican Cerveza in stock!!!
