25.01.2022 Watching people, especially men, interact with each other has changed considerably from when I was a young man. It’s not unusual for mates of mine to call each other up and check on how we are. 2020 for all of it’s faults (and golly gosh there has been a lot of them) one good thing that has come out of it has been the phone calls and conversations of support my family and friends have shown each other. I was lucky enough to talk to Chris Lawrence, NRL champion from the West ...Tigers, and Jon Patton AFL legend from the Hawks (I didn’t tell him I’m a Cats man cause I left the better rivalry behind). We had a chat for the ‘Play Your Role campaign’ created by the top shelf peeps at Beyond Blue. It was both a fun and serious chat I had with the guys about looking out for their team mates and the support you get from your mates when you hit challenging times.
