23.01.2022 I've got my ticket and I'm really looking forward to our end of year gathering this year. Lots to celebrate and savour.

22.01.2022 I absolutely love reading, books are an addiction for me, however less and less am I able to sink myself into a good book of fiction the way I used to. My attention span has shortened, my ability to sit still for long periods is almost completely gone (Unless it is at my computer screen... doing work ). And I’m blaming social media but what I think has really happened is that I have lost touch with the value of ‘being present’ for myself. I am FOMO’ing and SHOULD’ing all th...e time. I am feeling like I should be doing more, knowing more, BEING more. And I’m not sure what it is I should BE MORE off. So I search and I search. But I am endlessly bored. That creative heart of me is bursting, begging to play, hungry for action but first it needs to relearn to be present to self, to take time to settle into self and so I put the phone and computer aside and I pick up a pen, I doodle and scrall on actual paper. I sit for longest time and the world opens up. Just a bit. This might take time. I loved this short video because it bought me back to all the reasons that I love to read.

21.01.2022 ‘A word in your shell like if I may’ ...meaning, that I want to share something a little personal and possibly private or delicate with you. When was the last time someone REALLY listened to you? Few people ever learn or are actually trained to truely listen to others. Listen to connect and actually understand something from another’s point of view. ... Most people are just listening to respond. Sure they might be politely waiting for their turn, nodding their head even, perhaps saying ‘aha and hmm’ now and then too. But there is nothing quite as powerful as holding a space for someone, without personal agenda, opinion or attachment to an outcome. I’m loving reading this newly released book supporting the art of listening with true curiosity and patience.

19.01.2022 Super excited to have been awarded my PCC Credential by The International Coach Federation (ICF) this week. It is a badge I will wear with honour. This has been a goal of mine since I first graduated from my coach specific training. This is a painting I did a while ago as a part of my mindfulness practice, it’s called The Mountain, I post it in the place of a selfie with my certificate. It’s recognition of many hours of coaching, combined with continuous education and dedication to a profession I LOVE. More and more organisations are beginning to require their coaching panel members to hold a credential and to have done coach specific training, a sign of the times and a commitment to the coaching profession. Many thanks and much appreciation to those who have supported me in reaching this milestone. Yay!!!

13.01.2022 I love Gabor Mate’. I think he is spot on. Working through and transforming trauma is one of the most rewarding things I do with my clients. Finding your authentic self. Speaking your truth. Cutting the ties that bind. Combine it with future focused life design coaching and its a freedom creating delight. Ahhh the relief Explaining all types of addiction... I think this is quite possibly one of the best graphic illustrations I’ve seen. Worth watching. See more

02.01.2022 I did an arts degree back in the 90's Fashion design to be exact. And whilst it has been years since I have worked directly in that industry it has served me well. My ability to apply myself to difficult technical tasks, research and develop workable solutions with competing elements such as time, money, materials and labour. Also to perservere during times when supply and demand are at odds. A resilience and empathy for those under pressure to deliver is what makes for a great Coach.
