23.01.2022 Good evening everyone, Wanted to tap into the collective brain trust on this page. What are some of your favourite hints and tips on staying focused when working from home? Especially, on creative tasks. Would love to hear any suggestions. Covid has thrown a lot of people off centremass lately, with it's demanding rules to follow and following the latest news without sacrificing work.... I actually miss having an office where I can rely on good ole’ Time Blocking. Have a great evening everybody! David,

21.01.2022 Ciao a tutti, G'day everyone! Hope everyone is doing well and keeping Covid-safe. I figured that I would share what I'm listening to right now. When I have a bi...t of scheduled downtime (if I don't schedule it - it won't happen ) or when I'm doing things that don't require me to work in silence. I enjoy knocking back an audiobook or two. Paper & e-books too, but more often than not I find I can multitask with an audiobook. Right now, I'm listing to "The Liberator - One World War II Soldier's 500-Day Odyssey from the Beaches of Sicily to the Gates of Dachau" This is the memoir of a senior United States Army Officer who was the most senior officer at the Liberation of Dachau. It is a really fascinating read and explains a lot of why he did what he did on the 29th of April 1945. 09.01.2022 Sharing a post from my book's FB page, if you haven't already, please head over and give it a like and follow for all of the Fortitude - A Life Enduring's updates. Stay safe, and have a great day!

07.01.2022 Finally! My scanner has come in. It’s been fantastic so far with getting top quality scans of my photos and documents. Also let’s me export documents to Word.do...cx or Editable PDF so I can easily do translations on documents. This will speed up the process of finishing off the manuscript. The publisher will be happy to hear that!

05.01.2022 Hi everyone! Passing on a quick update that the manuscript is nearly ready for the first round of editing, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the next few months have in store for the project. In the meantime, I thought I would like to share with you, an article from the regional online newspaper publisher, Balkan Insight (free to read - no need for subscription), on the topic of Boris' home town, Rijeka Croatia (formerly Fiumè, Italy).... It is a sneak peek into a little known gem of Europe, with more than it's fair share of beautiful & picturesque vantage points and some interesting history to boot. For example; Rijeka's multiethnic diversity that was at the heart of the city’s winning bid, as ‘City of Diversity’, to become ‘European Capital of Culture’ in 2020. Moreover, when under Italian influence, the town also saw the first example of a Fascist government, albeit very shortlived government. Read on to learn more about Boris' fascinating and beautiful ancestral home. I look forward to sharing more with you in the memoir. Please, everyone, stay safe and enjoy the read! https://balkaninsight.com//in-croatias-rijeka-fiume-lives/
