21.01.2022 There has been some ANXIETY of late regarding Mosman Park council's treatment of dog owners Likewise, there is also CONCERN from other residents due to the fact that SOME dog owners do not clean up after their dogs as they run free. However the continued lack of community consultation and sustained blitz has created a lot of angst. If you are looking for a someone with the skills and knowledge to backup their pledge to keep RATES LOW and SERVICES UP then I am YOUR councillor. With over 20 years advising businesses as an Accountant and Chief Financial Officer, I will bring these skills to council to thoroughly review and interrogate our town's financials and contracts to control costs and minimise waste, thus ensuring that residen...ts still receive maximum "BANG-FOR-OUR-BUCK" when it comes to services but that our rates are kept LOW. Together with my wife Dianne we have two daughters attending school in Mosman Park and I am committed to keeping Mosman Park a great suburb and am currently the President of Rotary Mosman Park - Cottesloe as well as, sitting on the board as Treasurer of SHINE (Mosman Park's provider of in-home services to seniors and residents with disabilities). Many residents had their say- some POSITIVE and some NEGATIVE. The final decision will be influenced by what the "people" think.... So are you FOR or AGAINST ? I want to know and so does the council. 07.01.2022 Very IMPRESSIVE turn out of residents at the Mosman Park council meeting on Tuesday evening. A great deal of concern has been expressed regarding the "tone" of interactions between the Ranger and residents, particularly in relation WALKING DOGS and leash laws. The pleasing result is that a community consultation forum will likely be run over the next couple of weeks to discuss the issues around ensuring that owners can exercise their pets without the fear of being confronted with hefty fines.
