08.01.2022 Does your backyard pool meet the requirements of Victoria regulations? New regulations came into place in December 2019 and many pool and spa owners may not be aware of their obligations. The rules cover all inground and aboveground pools which can hold a depth of water of 30cm or more; yes, just 30cm!... Crucially, all pools and spas (which can hold 30cm or more of water) must be registered with your local council by 1 November 2020. For those who have recently settled on a new property or are looking to buy a new home must be aware of the new rules. If the vendor has not registered the pool or spa, you’ll have to do it yourself!
