24.01.2022 We're already up to episode four of our long-form walkie-talkie video series and this time Blowy tells the harrowing tale of when he became victim of a well executed scam in Bali. Watch here: https://youtu.be/UzTrnGvBw5Y

23.01.2022 I'd always been curious about one very specific thing about the Irwins. So when I had the chance five years ago I had to ask on camera. Turns out it was 'a rumour'. I'm making a video about this now. Stay tuned.

21.01.2022 For the past 16 weeks my brother and I have dutifully published a half-hour video every Saturday morning in which we explore our respective patches of earth while recounting stories from the past. Once we hit episode ten we began featuring special guests. This week we spoke to our old friend Pete Leong about his experiences as a child actor in Australia in the early 1990s and his life now in Japan working as a photographer who has shot more than 1000 weddings. Note: this episode contains allegations of sexual assault. https://youtu.be/gi1ruqeLI-Y

16.01.2022 Do you like slow television? My brother threw an idea at me the other day and I thought it was worth acting upon. We’ve just uploaded episode one of the Kama and Blowy Show. It’s half an hour of us in real time exploring our respective surroundings with a GoPro and recounting some tales along the way. Watch it while you do the ironing or as you sit in the bath. https://youtu.be/FypF-6SNNkc

14.01.2022 I recently entered this video in a vlog competition organised by Sony spoiler alert, I didn't win and it gives a bit of an update and a recap regarding our recent movements.

13.01.2022 Today I joined JJ Walsh on her online show to talk about some of the videos I've made in Japan. https://youtu.be/zJl_NXMBGgU

10.01.2022 I realise this page is meant to showcase my journalistic work, but stay with me. There's a lot of value for me in creating experimental work whether it's a journalistic creation or not. Josh Robertson a friend who also happens to be a journo has a band called the Toxic Bears and he took me up on an offer to make him a music video. He chose this song because I was in Japan at the time and that related directly to the lyrics. Late last year I had to return to Australia briefly for personal reasons, so I made sure I got the band together for a quickly organised shoot to make the video complete. Well, without further ado, he is Stolen Shoe Sprawl by the Toxic Bears. https://www.facebook.com/ToxicBears/

10.01.2022 I heard an interesting piece of informations about the Irwins and Vanuatu and I put it to them in a 2015 interview, but it turned out I'd been fooled by a rumour. I swore I had a reliable source. So who was this source? The answer will surprise you.

09.01.2022 As you're probably already painfully aware, my brother and I do a weekly show in which we explore our respective patches as we recount fascinating tales from the past. It's called The Kama and Blowy Show and it's a YouTube series and now an audio series. Well, we've now got a theme song and a snazzy new intro! Big thank you to five-year-old Jack the Toxic Bear cub and the senior Toxic Bears for creating this intro for The Kama and Blowy Show.

08.01.2022 This side project is clicking along nicely and we're now releasing each episode as an audio podcast too.

08.01.2022 There's one question I generally ask people before I formally start the interview and it's one of my father's favourite questions that he often asks children. Can you guess what it is?

07.01.2022 In 2006 I didn't have a GoPro but I wanted to get some camera-mounted footage so I created a makeshift solution for a self-funded documentary in Osaka that ended up on the cutting room floor because the main subjects got cold feet after a couple of days of shooting.

02.01.2022 Ten years ago I graduated from Jschool. At the time I didn't realise I was still more than six months away from finding a job in the industry or that I'd go on to work at the same institution.

01.01.2022 A lot of people don't believe me when I tell them how fast bamboo can grow so I made this video.
