22.01.2022 How do you start your day? As a creative I can’t just get up and jump in front of a computer. Well very rarely. Creative flow comes when it comes and it can’t be forced. I find the best way to be in a creative flow state is to start with the ocean. Swim, surf or walk by the ocean. When I get stuck on a part in a film I always take a break to soak up the big blue. I put my heart and soul into each and every one of my films and I couldn’t do it without my ocean fix. #westisbest #westernaustralia #home #inspired

From word go, they wore their hearts on their sleeves and set the tone for a super laid back beachside wedding. 21.01.2022 I had a 9-5 business. I worked away thinking that the more money I make the better my life will be. I worked so much that I didn’t have time to do anything that made my soul shine and I had no time to use the things that I bought with all that money. Fast forward 5 years in my wedding filmmaking journey and it still feels like a passion project. The idea that I get to help plan my couples big days, join in and shoot their days with my full attention to detail and create stori...es for my couples to watch for years to come; completely blows my mind to this day. I only have two spots left for 2022 and I am completely booked out until 2023. That is absolutely nuts to me. 16.01.2022 I met Jane and Rhylan a few years ago not long after they suffered a personal tragedy. They sadly lost a child. Their baby girl Addison was a still birth. They got in contact with me to create an elopement film for them. Learning about their story and meeting them in person, really had such a huge impact on me. Two of the nicest, most gentle people I have ever come across. They were so humble. Whilst filming their day I was honoured enough to be right there with them feeling ...every emotion they shared whilst exchanging vows. Jane and Rhylan’s film still takes me right back to those moments. I can’t begin to understand the pain they would have felt and the strength they had to go through it all and then try again. Fast forward a couple of years, they were blessed with a beautiful, healthy baby girl Hallie. I couldn’t think of anyone who deserves the joy they feel more. Just recently, I receive a little msg saying they will be down south for the week. I couldn’t help myself, I had to create a little family film for them. Thanks again for letting me tag along guys and share your story. You guys are very special humans.
14.01.2022 Hey guys, Dave here! The high-energy kid behind the lens. Thought I’d share a couple of things I’ve learnt over the last ten years or so. Number one: You can actually take any direction you want in life, you can create a career out of what your really passionate about. Number two; To do that you need to work for it. No one is going to hand you anything on a platter. Number three; If you feel trapped in a job, whether your being paid well or not, you have a way out! Nothings... over till your dead. Your job pays well? Then flipping use it as a platform to create a life you want; doing something you want to do. Nothing happens over night so keep chipping away at it. Number Four; Excuses get you nowhere. Own your shit and keep moving in the direction you want. Keep evolving, keep trying to get better because let’s be honest what a waste of a life if we don’t. #lifethelifeyouwant #keepmovingforward See more

Just checking in to say massive big ups to all the legend couples out there that have done their best, changed their dates and have been on the grind to re create a new wedding dream. Let’s be honest planning a wedding is bloody hard yakka to begin with and to juggle vendors back and forward and find a new date is almost a full blown magic trick! Hats off to you guys! I wanted to create the story to highlight firstly how loved and respected they both are. How they also treat everyone they come across with their time and presence. I know it hasn’t been easy re scheduling your big days, but I’m super grateful for your patience. I know that when your day comes around it’s going to be amazing even after everything we have all been through. I’ve been spending this time diving deep into editing the amazing weddings I shot before everything shut down. I’ve felt a creative surge and d...ecided to work on a new logo to better represent my brand. My crazy talented friend Holli and I have up with some new branding and I’m excited about the next chapter!
