07.01.2022 We're having great results with our new wavefront aberrometer to create wavefront corrected contact lenses. This device takes 11000 data points through the patient's pupil and builds a map of exactly the type of blur each person experiences. It then breaks the blur up into components (coma, trefoil, spherical aberration also known as tails, streaks and haloes) so that we can optimise each person's contact lenses to correct their vision to finer detail than ever before. Thi...s is particularly useful for patients with keratoconus whose eyes commonly experience more complex blur patterns than normal eyes.
