20.01.2022 Huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped letterbox drop this weekend and over the past weeks! We managed to drop over 30,000 flyers to more than 15,000 homes in South Yarra, Toorak and Kooyong! I’ve been blown away by the help I’ve received from family, friends and the whole North Ward community. Whilst I’ve been out & about, I’ve had the opportunity to speak with a lot of people, and have been overwhelmed by the support everyone has given for our campaign. 19.01.2022 Today the votes for the 2020 Council elections are counted and we should soon have a good idea of who’ll be leading our city for the next 4 years. Big congratulations to all the candidates who’ve nominated for the election. It takes a lot of courage to throw your hat in the ring and put yourself in the public spotlight and the scrutiny that comes with it. I’ve been genuinely impressed with all of the North Ward candidates and know that the City of Stonnington should be in go...od hands for the future. Before the results are announced, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my campaign. I’ve been incredibly moved by the amount of support I’ve received throughout the election, from family, friends, colleagues and many other people in the community. A special thanks to my wife Steph who has been an incredible support throughout this campaign. Lucy & I are so lucky to have a wife and mum who is as supportive, encouraging and inspiring as you. It’s been an amazing learning experience to run this campaign and I’ve met some really incredible people in our community along the way. 07.01.2022 Today people will start receiving their ballot papers for the 2020 Council elections in Victoria. I’m running for Stonnington Council because I’m passionate about our community and care deeply about our city. Stonnington is our home. We love how diverse and special this city is, and are excited to raise our family here. We've all been impacted by COVID-19, and the pandemic has exposed many issues we face today, and will in the future. Our local businesses are struggling, ou...r highstreets are a shadow of their former selves. Our residents have poor access to critical services like childcare and mental health, whilst our Council prioritises large-scale projects that provide limited value to our community. This isn't good enough. As we come out of COVID, our community needs transparency and accountability from our Council. We need to ensure our Council listens and acts on behalf of its constituents, not for political ambitions. Over the coming years, we'll be spending more time outdoors, and we need to improve the living environment of our neighbourhoods. We need to upgrade the safety and appearance of our streets, parks and sporting facilities. Our local traders must be supported through emergency rate relief and a revitalisation of our highstreets, to bring customers back to our once-vibrant business districts. Finally, we need to make all our core services are managed & funded properly, and our investments deliver the most value & impact for our community. We're lucky to live in the best city in the world, let's make sure we elect a Council that represents the best of Stonnington. My background makes me an ideal candidate to bring fresh energy and ideas to this job. I'm a qualified Aerospace Engineer and accomplished Product Manager, leading teams at some of Australia's largest organisations (Accenture, Australia Post, Department of Defence). I believe anything is possible and that nothing's too difficult to solve - our problems aren't rocket science, and even if they were, I'm the right person to help solve them.
