24.01.2022 Happy 10th birthday to the Subi Farmers Market. Congrats Fed, Jodi and everyone involved in making it such a success for our community!

24.01.2022 Out and about on the streets of the central ward door knocking and introducing myself to residents, hopefully Ill knock on yours!

22.01.2022 Last weekend I agreed to a sit down interview with a local Subi community group at their request to put forward my views on important issues for the Subiaco community. I did this on the basis that there would be an agreed record of that interview and that publication of the interviews would present that record to allow people to make up their own minds as to whether or not I was someone that they would vote for. Disappointingly the community group has confirmed that they do not intend to publish this information in their newsletter despite our agreement, but will rather only publish the views of their preferred candidates. I believe in transparency and accountability. For the record here is the complete, agreed transcript of my interview.

21.01.2022 Fun for all the family....

20.01.2022 What better place for a business lunch than a local hatted restaurant!

19.01.2022 3 more retailers closing on Rokeby Rd this week! Enough is enough! Small business is a essential part of the fabric of our community and the village of Subi. Help our local retailers and support our Subi community by shopping locally whenever you possibly can. As a candidate for the central ward I support local business and if elected will do whatever I can to help ease pressure on our local retailers.

16.01.2022 Fantastic news! Great initiative from Council.

16.01.2022 Introducing myself to more residents at the Subi Farmers Market this morning, come up and say hello! Back t-shirt and black cap.

15.01.2022 Voting is the cornerstone of a representative democracy. If you feel strongly about the direction of our community, have your say by considering what the candidates for your local ward stand for and most importantly, VOTE!

15.01.2022 A reminder that there is a "Meet the Candidates" event tonight from 5:30pm at the Regal Theatre. Come along and youll hear me outline what I believe are the 3 key themes for council attention in the coming period. If you cant make it Ill be posting my views here after the event.... Hope to see you there!

08.01.2022 ***** PLEASE SHARE ******* To date the electoral commission has received only 1,166 returns for the Central Ward of City of Subiaco, thats just on 1/3 of us who have cast our vote to have OUR say in the future of Subiaco. Of course that means theres over 2,000 people out there in the Central Ward who have yet to vote, theres every likelihood youll be speaking to some of them today. Lets all remind a neighbour or friend today to have their voice heard in local government... by voting prior to this Saturday the 19th. Click the link to go to my page and see what I believe in and how we can help bring the vibrancy back to our village of Subiaco.

08.01.2022 Dont forget that its not to late to vote! You can still have your say in the future of Subi, by either dropping your completed voting package in the box at City of Subiaco Administration Centre or by picking up a replacement package from the same place.

08.01.2022 Here is a copy of the notes I read from during my 5 minute presentation last night at the Subiaction Meet the Candidates event. These outline what I believe are key issues facing Subi and how my knowledge, skills and experience would be a good addition to Council in helping to deal with them. You may not get the full picture on my views in other forums, but here they are in black and white.... Please feel free to share with your networks!

08.01.2022 Thank you to Subiaction (Streets of Subi) and to the Regal Theatre for hosting the Meet the Candidates event tonight, I appreciated the opportunity to voice my views. For those who couldnt make it to the event there is a link to the live stream replay on the Streets of Subi Facebook page (link below) so you can see and hear verbatim what I and the other candidates had to say including some very incisive questions without notice!

08.01.2022 As part of my work I have met politicians from across all persuasions and from Local to Federal level. Today I had the pleasure of showing Mr Ian Goodenough MP the member for Moore in the House of Representatives around a new project I am working on for a client. What struck me was the genuine interest from Mr Goodenough into the project and how he very quickly started thinking about the positives of the project for his constituents and the opportunities it would provide. Whatever your political persuasion may be at a Federal level, I took a great lesson out of my meeting with Mr Goodenough and his real curiosity and positivity about his electorate.

08.01.2022 Dont forget to come along and support our local businesses, you might just have a good time with your neighbours as well!

07.01.2022 Out and about door knocking again meeting my fellow central ward residents. Glorious spring day for it! Hope I get to your .

06.01.2022 ***** IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***** If you have not received your election package from the Electoral Commission in the mail it is very important that you contact the City of Subiaco Administration Centre on 9237 9222 to ensure that you receive a replacement form. I understand that there has been instances where members of our community have enquired about replacement voting forms only to be told that votes have already been received from those people.... If you have not received your voting package in the mail IT IS IMPERIATIVE that you contact council to ensure that someone has not VOTED ON YOUR BEHALF. Please pass this on to your neighbours and friends.

05.01.2022 ****** PLEASE SHARE ****** Dont forget to vote and have your say on the future of Subi!

03.01.2022 If you can spare the time, head to Shenton Park this weekend and spend what you can afford to help the Dogs Refuge Home. Our (now passed) Wilma was a beloved family pet for 8 years after we adopted her from the Refuge Home, they do amazing work in giving dogs a second chance at life.

03.01.2022 Fantastic catching up with people this morning at the Subi Farmers Market, even managed to secure some votes!

02.01.2022 This Saturday the 19th of October is the final day to make your voice count in the WA local government elections. I believe that voting is the cornerstone of our democracy, something that gives all of us an opportunity to have our say. There are strong views expressed in our community about what is best for our city, you may not agree with them but you can be sure that those with those views will be voting to endeavour to implement them. Local government elections are no...t compulsory and so the views of the silent majority are not always heard. The good news is that there is time available for you to have YOUR say on the future direction of Subiaco. You can vote right up until 6pm on the 19th by hand delivering your completed ballot envelope to Council. Lost your ballot paper under a pile of bills? Dog ate your homework? You can always get a replacement at the City of Subiaco Administration Centre, 241 Rokeby Rd Subiaco. If you care about the future of our Subiaco home, have your say and vote in your council elections. PS - Please share this message with your friends and family and help to increase the say of the silent majority in local government.

01.01.2022 Should you whinge about Council if you dont bother to vote? Interesting question. Of course you can maintain your right to whinge by participating in your local election and voting! Make sure that you understand what the candidates for your local ward stand for and you can have your interests heard by voting for the candidate that aligns with you.
