14.01.2022 The Seaham Park and Wetlands Committee have been busy working to improve their local Bird Hide and Wetlands with a Local Environment Grant. They have completed the clearing of weeds and rubbish and are just about to start some spot spraying. During the clearing out of the weeds and rubbish they discovered the old steps linking East Seaham Road and Torrence Street attached to the bird hide. ... The steps were rotten and unsafe and have been removed. But good news the team will be replacing these steps as part of the repairs to the bird hide. The repairs to the bird hide will start shortly, weather permitting. Mayzent (siponimod) will be listed on the PBS for the first time to treat those patients with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. Without PBS subsidy, these patients would pay more than $25,000 per year for treatment with approximately 800 ...patients benefiting from this listing each year.
