24.01.2022 Hi to all our clients. We are expanding and will soon be opening up a second office in the same complex we currently occupy. Exciting times ahead

24.01.2022 Our inaugural sponsorship award for the top indigenous law student at the University of Canberra. A very proud moment for our firm. Thanks to Alicia Prest for the photographs

21.01.2022 I had some very useful discussions over the weekend on expanding to other areas of practice. This is an exciting development and we hope to make an announcement in the coming weeks as to what this may entail.

20.01.2022 Further to our last post all our clients will enter 3/13 Napier close Deakin from 1 March 2020. Existing clients will be sent an information email. Our upstairs office will remain in the practice but only to house lawyers. Clients will be met at 3/13. In a brand new facility.

20.01.2022 So our practice bought a beautiful collection of 1st edition leather bound English texts from the ACT Supreme Court dating back to the 1860’s. These were meant to be decorative but as the law goes we needed to find a case not found anywhere on the normal internet legal search engines from 1893 on the queens bench.....boom we found it in one of the volumes. Not only decorative but very useful. #don’t throw out your books#

18.01.2022 Hi all. I did a study last year at the ANU on the effects of anti-malarial medication on deployed members. If you have had any physical or mental injuries as a result of what you suspect is anti-malarial medication then reach out to me.

13.01.2022 Our firm will be on ABC news on Sunday night at 7pm talking about the effects of elongated legal proceedings on those with mental health injuries suffered in the workplace and the lack of support along the way

12.01.2022 Hi all. We are moving to our own premises at suite 7/13 Napier Close Deakin Act. It is currently undergoing a refit but we will be in on or before the 1 December 2018. We are going for a mix of natural and environmentally aware materials and can’t wait to showcase the new space to our clients. We are grateful to complete property projects for making the vision a reality.

11.01.2022 Our firm is on the move. We are relocating to our own bigger premises around the corner in Deakin. Will keep you posted with details but we are very excited to be fitting out our own place.

11.01.2022 As per our website We remain open for business given the essential work we do with clients for ongoing benefits for incapacity and medical assistance. We are adhering to the federal government and ACT government restrictions and advice on COVID-19 which is a changing scenario. If you have recently travelled overseas and returned to Australia please ensure that you are cleared of COVID-19 and have adhered to the strict requirements of 14 days self isolation prior to seeing us... If you are symptom free we are still content to see clients on a face to face basis provided you take all the necessary preventative measures. If you are unwell we are also happy to do current matters and new referrals via telephone or Skype. We are very much committed to our existing and new clients through these trying times. Please call us to discuss any concerns you may have and stay safe. David Healey

11.01.2022 Just wanted to share the news that I was made an Adjunct Assistant Professor by the University of Canberra School of Law and Justice following a decade of teaching and research. Very humbled and honoured....

11.01.2022 New business cards thanks to Whitefox graphic designs

08.01.2022 Proud of this one.....

08.01.2022 A safe and happy Christmas and new year to all our friends and clients. We hope that 2019 brings with it good health and happiness.

07.01.2022 We would like to welcome two new employees to our firm: Ray Livingston - Special Counsel Grace Haverfield - Paralegal ... The reduction in our workload has been very noticeable. Grace prides herself on her hard work ethic and Ray is a former criminal barrister and our second set of eyes. We look forward to working with you both and are very grateful for your service so far.

07.01.2022 Very proud of my good mate Will - so much courage.....

06.01.2022 Day one of the employment law conference in the states. The laws aren’t as vastly different as I was led to believe but can say that Australian workers are certainly better protected.

06.01.2022 Some clients are simply far too generous. Very touched by the Thurgar family today - thank you both so much

03.01.2022 Progress photos of the new office .... we will be open by the end of next week downstairs from the main office.

01.01.2022 Busy day yesterday starting in the Federal Court....
