23.01.2022 Always keep your cooling system in top condition especially at this time of year !! Low water & kept driving while the engine was hot resulting in a blow head gasket , t.k test doesnt lie there it is in full colour .

16.01.2022 Nearly a catastrophic engine failure due to lack of maintenance or someone not doing their job; For example checking accessory drive belts when servicing the vehicle . Belt has deteriorated and a part come away and got stuck behind the harmonic balancer resulting in destroying the front timing case oil seal and letting all the oil out of the engine all over the underbody of the car . These problems usually come from these cheap services you see for $100 or $150 where they are not checking things like this . Maintain your vehicle , pay that bit extra for quality parts that are known and trusted and for the experience of professional mechanics who do the job right first time everytime stay safe and happy motoring

16.01.2022 Oil Catch Can - A must for all late model diesel engines. Ever wondered why we may suggest fitting an oil catch can kit to your direct injection diesel vehicle? The photos speak for themselves - this is from a vehicle that is not fitted with one; you can see the enormous amount of oil and contaminants built up in the intake manifold.... A catch can kit installed can prevent the oil and other contaminants building up as it acts as a filter that catches these contaminants before they reach the intake; a build up can cause knocking, pre-ignition, loss in power and loss in fuel economy. Having a catch can will always ensure your vehicle is running at optimum power output and will prolong your engines life. The kit we recommend and install is a Provent Series 200 with replaceable filter and is German manufactured; all bracketry and hoses within the kit are manufactured here in Australia. 11.01.2022 Another pro vent series 200 oil catch can installed on a d22 Nissan navara , this kit we have to fab up our own bracket to mount the can in a suitable place . Not much room with dual battery set up but I think it turned out good

05.01.2022 Got a bad oil leak from the front of your 80 0r 105 series Toyota landcruiser with the 1fz-fe 4.5 6 cyl petrol motor ? This could be your problem , pretty common over time the rubber o-ring around the oil pump front cover shrinks and goes hard and the housing distorts . Heres one Im fixing at the moment , all cleaned down , machined the front cover and new o-ring ready to go if you have a similar problem with one of these cars give me a call Ill sort you out cheers
