25.01.2022 *Global Moonsighting Announcement.* The IDCA executive committee is pleased to announce the confirmation of the crescent being sighted marking the beginning of Ramadan. The Minister of Religion and Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia have confirmed moon sighting in Indonesia.... Therefore the first day of Ramadan is tomorrow *Friday 24th April 2020*.

Berala and Chester Hill Community Centres will be closed for Jummah until further notice.... We are in talks with both councils and will provide an update when we will resume Jummah prayers in sha Allah. See more

21.01.2022 Get Ready for the BEST NIGHT of the YEAR! Allah says in Surat Al-Qadr (meaning), The Night of Al Qadr (Decree) is better than a 1000 months... (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). (al-Qadr 97:3) Abu Hurayrah (ra) narrated that the Prophet (saw) said, Whoever spends this night in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward will be forgiven his previous sins. 17.01.2022 Ibn Abbas (ra) said: I never saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) so keen to make sure he fasted any day and preferring it over another except this day, the day of Ashoora and this month (Ramadan). (Narrated Bukhari) The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Fasting the day of Arafah I hope Allah will expiate thereby for the year before it and the year after it, and fasting the day of Ashoora I hope Allah will expiate thereby for the year that came before it. 10.01.2022 Umm Habeebah (ra), the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), that she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say There is no Muslim who p...rays 12 rakahs to Allah each day, voluntarily, apart from the obligatory prayers, but Allah will build for him a house in Paradise. (Muslim) --------------------------------------- Umm Habeebah (ra), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Whoever prays 12 rakahs in a day and night, a house will be built for him in Paradise: 4 before Zuhr and 2 after it, 2 rakahs after Maghrib, 2 rakahs after Isha, and 2 rakahs before Fajr prayer. It was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan at-Tirmidhi. --------------------------------------- The Prophet of Allah (saw) said I guarantee a house in the outskirts of Paradise to the one who forsakes argument even when he is in the right.
