24.01.2022 Happy Easter everybody! In many ways, it’s probably the weirdest or most unique Easter most of us have ever experienced. I say let’s use this opportunity to make it super special! How is everybody doing and dealing with being isolated? ...Continue reading

23.01.2022 Hi lovely people! Welcome to the first day of Winter (for us in the south)! I hope you are all doing well. We are slowly coming out the 'other side' of a rather strange time in our lives. I hope you managed well during this time. Well done if you did and if you struggled, that's OK too. Try to move forward from here on, in a positive way. The uncertainties were bound to steer many of us, off course, but we have the power to choose, where too from here. ... Shout out if you are struggling to get back on track or don't know where to start. I am back at the office more often now, but still available for online appointments if preferred. For my Launceston crew - I am placing a Nutraorganics order today, if anybody needs to stock up. Please let me know ASAP if you need anything. https://nutraorganics.com.au/ Have a wonderful week!

20.01.2022 This is very handy. Let’s give it a go & support our wonderful local businesses. Local, seasonal & fresh - can’t beat that

20.01.2022 WHAT DOES 2020 LOOK LIKE FOR YOU? Well, here it is. Another year done & dusted! One thing I have come to realise over the years, as I become older and wiser, is that time really is our most precious gift. Something I definitely overlooked when I was younger, ‘invincible’ and tomorrow wasn’t even a thought. Each year on New Year’s Eve I look back over the last year and ask myself: Did I make a difference? Did I spend the precious gift of time to the best of my ability? ...Continue reading

13.01.2022 Happy weekend everyone! Just a quick check-in and update I apologise for not being on my Facebook/Instagram page more often. I have so many exciting things I read, see, do and often create and so desperately want to share with you, but 24 hours in a day, just doesn't seem quite enough! ... My practice has officially been open for 1 year and what a year it's been! Thank you to everybody who have supported me and put their trust in me. It has been an amazing journey so far...a journey where I witnessed healing every day, shared many ‘aha’ moments, love, laughter and even tears, with the most beautiful people. My main focus this last year and in the upcoming months, has been and continue to be my practice, hence my absence on social media. I much prefer the one-on-one time with clients, as this is how I create trustworthy relationships and help each individual find their answers and healing. When I’m not at work, I try really hard to distance myself and find time out with my beautiful family time away from technology, social media and constantly taking photos of what I/we cook & eat. I will however continue to selectively use my Facebook page for updates, articles and news REALLY worth sharing (even though it's been shared on a million other pages!), workshops, giveaways and bookings, until my website is up & running. It has been a long time coming! There is a plethora of Facebook pages, websites and Instagram pages to follow, all with much the same information...the recipes are often my favourite and the success stories are so encouraging, but nothing beats sitting down in person with somebody, enjoying a cuppa together and actually dealing with their specific needs. Social media can be as confusing, as it can be helpful. There are so many experts, nobody knows what to believe anymore. Some are encouraged, where others are discouraged by the same post. I personally find it quite exhausting, especially the constant repetition and nastiness that often creeps in. Life is so beautiful, I choose to hold on to the little and simple things, which brings me true happiness. My passion for using food as medicine has deepened, as I've seen the success, first hand, in my practice. I’ve learnt that you never stop learning and so I am continuously taking on further studies, which enables me to help more people, with even greater success. Please feel free to contact me if you have any health issues and you are looking for answers and inspiration, to make a change and regain your health and vitality. Please remember this: the human body is designed to heal...you just need to know how... Dawida xxx

12.01.2022 As a REAL FOOD 'Foody' I am always on the hunt for good recipes. Over the years as I became a more confident cook (trust me, I had zero cooking skills!), I have learnt to experiment and now use recipes as a guide - then I tweak them to be compliant with my REAL FOOD standards (pretty high!). I have many favourite websites that I use for recipes and the Merrymaker Sisters, is one of them. So many healthy & delicious options. Check it out and let me know which is your favouri...te :) Have a lovely weekend everyone! https://themerrymakersisters.com/merrymaker-recipe-index/

11.01.2022 I am definitely the 'sit down, let's have a chat' kind of girl. I love meeting new clients, hearing their stories and sharing their journeys to improve their health. I also really look forward to seeing my existing clients - beautiful, determined people - seeing their smiley faces, the changes they are undergoing and witnessing them blossoming into healthy human beings, equipped with the knowledge and skills to continue being the healthiest versions of themselves. I realise...Continue reading

07.01.2022 Good morning guys! Happy Monday! I hope everybody is doing great and are organised for the week ahead ;) It's going to be a great week! Just a quick note to let you know that I will be doing a NUTRAORGANICS order tomorrow, for anybody who would like bone broth, collagen, gelatine or any other of their lovely products. I was very reluctant to stock any products initially, but it has been so popular and since I use and recommend it, decided that I'll do it and see how it... goes. Well, I have completely sold out of the last 2 orders, in a really short time, so you guys must be loving it too :D I personally prefer homemade broth and recommend it at all times, but when my stock run out in summer, I do use the Nutraorganics broth, as it's so warm in the kitchen already and having broth going for 24 hrs+ then, is just not all that much fun I take it with me on camping trips or when we go on holiday. So convenient! I also realise that not everybody has the time to make broth themselves, so this is the next best thing for sure. I love the collagen range too and would highly recommend it. Same with the gelatine, especially if you are making your own homemade gelatine gummies (gut healing). Please inbox me or call me (0417981770), if you would like me to order something special for you. 15% off RRP :) This might sound odd, but to us foodies or somebody you really care about, this will be a great stocking filler or gift for Christmas too. Please let me know asap! Cheers guys! https://www.nutraorganics.com.au/

02.01.2022 Hey there lovely people. I hope everybody is having a great week so far! Just a quick post for Tassies/Aussies - Woolworths has this refillable oil sprayer on special this week. I saw it this morning and had every intention to post it straight away, but ended up being so busy, I didn't get a chance, I'm so sorry! The special is still on until 10pm tonight or when your local store shut :) I grabbed a few, so if you would like one, please let me know and you can pick it up ...from my office when you go past. I've had mine for a few years now and honestly, I love it! I used to have a really nice stainless steel one, but hated the way it sprayed, so then resort to using a brush...until I found this sprayer. It produces a fine mist - perfect for spraying my roast veggies or meat...well, anything really. I have given so many of these spray bottles as gifts to friends, to help them make another small, but significant change to they way they prepare food (all part of lifestyle changes). It may seem a stupid thing to give to somebody, but I believe some of the best gifts, are the ones you would buy for yourself. I use mine every.single.day :) Please don't use the commercial oil spray cans in the supermarket - trust me, it does not just contain oil If you are currently using oil in a spray can (even if it's olive oil or coconut oil), check the label and tell me what else you think might be hiding in the can and end up in your food? Scary stuff!

01.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone! I just wanted to share this with my fellow parents out there...either you are going to hate me or love me, but I can so testify to this (in my kids' view, I am way to strict on their use of technology and not cool at all!). Reducing the use of technology in our house, has probably been one of the best decisions we've made as parents. Trust me, it is hard at times, but in my profession, I see too many side effects of an unhealthy lifestyle, which do...n't just include DIET. So, even though this is not a post that is food/diet related, it may help some of you to better understand the effect of technology on your child's mental health (not just children by the way). I am currently reading David Gillespie's book (TEEN BRAIN) - it's a great read! https://www.booktopia.com.au/teen-br/prod9781760559465.html? Another one of his books that's worth reading is: SWEET POISON, if you need motivation to reduce sugar intake in your diet or if you are not yet aware of the dangers of sugar. https://www.booktopia.com.au/sweet-p/prod9780143783565.html Have a listen to the podcast - it's rather insightful. https://www.abc.net.au//con/david-gillespie-2019/10986686 Have a wonderful weekend!
