18.01.2022 An interesting day at the office: This afternoon while busy glossing door frames I noticed the old man from the holiday home next door walk in. I'd meet him a couple of times before, shared the odd yarn etc as you do, so it was no surprise to see him come in for a nosy. Unlike before, he never said hello, just stood there studying my work, just as I was about to say, what's up? He asked, Do you spray Varnish? I said, "not normally mate, too messy, I just use a roller or a b...rush, why's that?" "Oh, I've got this special project going on in the shed and I want it sprayed with Two Pack Varnish". "I’ll pop over in ten minutes" I said. So I'm walking down his drive when I spot him 20 meters away outside his shed starring at this long piece of timber. Me being me yelled out, what are you making a coffin? He laughed and said Yeah! Definitely a first for me!! See more
