25.01.2022 A Funeral is a time when it is natural for many to greet and console with a hug, kiss or a handshake. We are now, more than ever, living in unprecedented times. Following the announcements made last night by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, new measures concerning social distancing will take place from midnight, Wednesday 25th March. These include further restrictions for funeral services in Australia. We are now required to limit attendance at funerals to no more than 10 pers...ons. This is a heartbreaking, and challenging time for everyone, and we thank you for your understanding as we continue to adapt our services to these changes. The health, safety and wellbeing the families we serve, our team, and our families at home, are of the utmost importance to us. We are committed to helping families farewell their loved ones respectfully and within the current and relevant Government advice and regulations. Some other changes we have had to implement include; It is essential that appointments be made - We will not be able to see families immediately without an appointment. This is recommended for all physical interactions, including the delivery of items such as clothing, and completion of paperwork. Where possible, we will encourage arrangements be made via phone. There will be times and days, when our offices will be unattended - This highlights the need to make appointments for all physical interactions. If you have any questions or wish to discuss any issues please dont hesitate to contact us. Our phones will remain attended 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Stay safe.

22.01.2022 Due to community feedback, please note that the Funeral being held in the Narrogin Cemetery today, Friday 1st of May, is NOT being conducted by Dawsons Funeral Home. As per the current restrictions, no more than 10 persons are able to attend a service, unless an exemption has been given. 02.01.2022 It was great to see so many faces join us and the Rotary Club of Katanning for the Annual Family Remembrance Service held last night in Katanning. It certainly was a beautiful evening. A big thank you to all who were involved in putting the evening together.

02.01.2022 We often get asked if we conduct funerals in Perth? The simple answer is yes. With the increasing preference of cremation, and being licensed with the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board, we often find ourselves accompanying families to Fremantle, Karrakatta or Pinnaroo Crematoriums. Many country families often find themselves in a situation where a funeral in Perth is more appropriate and they can be unsure of who to look to. Dont hesitate to contact us should you need any advice at this time, and likewise should you wish to discuss any options or pre-planning, we are in Perth on a weekly basis and more than happy to call around if the kettle is on!
