06.01.2022 Did you know that we use Aphidius Wasps (black flying wasp pictured) to control and manage outbreaks of aphids on our roses? These little wasps lay their eggs in hundreds of aphids over a few weeks. The eggs hatch inside the aphid and chew their way out. This kills the aphids and the cycle continues. We have found this to be extremely effective and has allowed us to reduce spraying on all our plants to almost nil. If you take a look around your garden you may find some that h...ave taken a ride on plants you have recently purchased from us. They will maintain balance without the need to use pesticides. You may also notice small red/black lady beetle larvae in your garden (pictured). These guys feed off aphids and will help maintain balance in your garden.
