25.01.2022 Looking for some balance and control in your life? Come join our clinical exercise classes starting Thursday night!
24.01.2022 Just finished teaching our exercise class focusing on lower back flexibility, postural awareness, and glute and abdominal strength. We have several spots still available in the class if youre interested in joining us next week!
23.01.2022 Our bodies are not mechanical - they dont rust! Instead, they are made up of bits and pieces that are constantly remodelling to the load they are challenged with. This is just as relevant to knee and hip arthritis as it is to low back degeneration. We can help!!
23.01.2022 Happy Weekend Dayborites! We are open Saturdays again and have pilates sessions ready to go! Ring or message us to book your spot today!
22.01.2022 Further to the Governments everchanging Covid 19 rules, we have made yet more decisions on how to allow you to continue your treatment or to have treatment with the utmost safety. 1. We have removed all linen apart from towels as it is much easier to continually disinfect the vinyl beds. We have also purchased more plastic pillow covers which are also much easier to keep disinfected. 2. Gin is no longer running Physio Instructed Exercise Classes. Last week we downgraded th...e numbers to 3 per class, however this week the new laws preclude more than 2 people per treatment room/class. Therefore, Nick has gladly offered to take these Exercise Classes on a 1 on 1 basis. 3. The Australian Physiotherapy Association with Medicare are allowing EPC patients to claim Telehealth Sessions. Nick is looking into how we can provide this service ASAP. Thanks again, be safe and stay healthy.
22.01.2022 We have new colours in our archies! Khaki, lilac, and grey! Plus... A box full of limes to give away. Im not saying you have to make us a lime cheesecake, but Im not saying not to either!! N
21.01.2022 Not finding the humour in your humerus*? Maybe you should get that looked at: come see us for all manner of aches and pains! *Bad puns included as part of standard treatment.
19.01.2022 The Pool is open again!!! Great option for partial and non-weight bearing exercise options. More than happy to help develop your programs in collaboration with Dayboro Pool & Gym.
18.01.2022 Looking for a Clinical Exercise Class? Come join us on Saturdays! We only have 2 spots left for our classes on the 19th September!
17.01.2022 Physiotherapy continues to be regarded as an "essential service" and Your Physio remains OPEN for face to face consultation and home visits.
17.01.2022 To all those involved and interested in our Exercise/Pilates classes: Due to recent changes to private health insurance regarding Pilates rebates we can no longer use the term "Pilates" from the 1st of April. However, as our small group classes already include a thorough assessment, use outcome measures, and are individually tailored to achieve a therapeutic goal, and include much more than just Pilates exercises, this name change is the only real difference you may notice. Our classes, now known as "Clinical Exercise Classes", will continue to be eligible for rebate and we will still provide our unique services as we have been. If youre interested in joining, or would like more information, please get in touch and well be happy to discuss how we can help you towards your goals!
17.01.2022 Good news!! We can increase our small groups' sizes to 4!! With all the great work of the community Covid numbers remain low and restrictions continue to ease. We therefore have spots available in all classes: Monday 6:30pm Tues 9am... Wed 10am Thurs 8:45 & 10:30 Friday 10am See more
17.01.2022 Has your knee / hip replacement been delayed or cancelled? We can help! As restrictions ease and surgeries resume remember you can request Your Physio to do your pre- and post- operative care from home. Just ask your Private Health Insurer or the nursing staff in hospital.
16.01.2022 So its official, Ginger Meggs, or our very own Ranga got hitched yesterday. We wish Nick and Bec a very happy future together.
15.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT With the closures of gyms, clubs etc., we are constantly reviewing our own pre-cautionary procedures. We are still open for your benefit, with strict cleanliness guidelines in place to ensure both yours and our safety.... Maddies, Gins and Nicks classes are now to be capped at 3 persons maximum to ensure each person has 4sqm individual space. Also, if you have, or are living with someone who has returned from overseas in the last 2 weeks, we politely request you see out those 2 weeks before making an appointment.

14.01.2022 Happy Monday Dayborites! Hope youre all staying warm in this cold wind! Weve just received our stock of Fisiocrem including a few sample packets. If you havent tried Fisiocrem before come and have a chat. As with most topical creams, it wont cure you but can certainly help you feel better!

10.01.2022 Day 1 of school holidays - I hope everyone is safe and surviving!!! For those not coping, Your Physio is definitely still open for business (the Health Minister has strongly encouraged us to continue face-to-face services). We are regarded an essential service, keeping the community healthy and moving, and in-clinic sessions are an accepted reason to leave the house. For those who would rather stay at home, all 3 clinicians are equipped and able to provide home visits and we are investigating Telehealth options. Stay well.

09.01.2022 For anyone whos going to miss me / my exercise classes while im camping in the cold, here is a playlist of videos which may keep you in touch with your body!! Nick
08.01.2022 Nick's been told he can be a bit of a pain in the neck! Lucky he's pretty good at treating them as well!! With more people working from home, or out of their usual schedule, I've noticed an influx of posture related neck pain and overload. Most (non-migraine) headaches are either coming from the joints (Cervicogenic) or muscles (tension-type). With physiotherapy assessment we can work out where the headache is coming from and what we can do to help you.
