25.01.2022 Small young boys were employed at the Daydream Mine to sort the silver rocks underground and on the surface as young as 8 years old They were fed porridge for breakfast, jam sandwich for lunch and stew for tea. Six days a week, twelve hours a day

23.01.2022 The smelter at the Daydream was used by BHP back in 1885 was great in it’s time with 3 chimneys but now has only 1 left but still is rich in history It eventually went to Broken Hill
