11.01.2022 Been a busy week with helicopter flights Australia. Departing from day dream mine, let's you see the best both worlds above and below now you don't get to do that every day or every holiday you go on.

11.01.2022 I had pleasure of meeting Alex & Natalie, who were actually there honeymoon, instead of day dream Island, those to venture inland to the Day dream mine instead in the hottest weather we have had this summer was had this year, great to see the more adventurous especially this time year is all we get usually travel inland Australia.

Leo Inglis you are now the record holder of the Day dream mine underground tour at the vetran age of ninety six years & nine months, what an honour it was to witness your accomplishment wich seemed like more ease than somone only half your age. One can only hope or wish they could do the same at your age Leo, All the best from the Day dream family & staff

04.01.2022 The Day Dream Mine smelter was they first smelter built in the broken hill district and last one still standing or somewhat standing today, built in 1884 by the B,R,S,M,A in which taking 80 men 12 months to compleat the project. saved them transporting they ore to Europe for smelting and processing. As use can see here it's going to be one of its last years. With the September winds I wouldn't at all be surprised to see this chimney fall.

03.01.2022 Freckles having a feed at the Daydream Mine As with everyone else we have to give extra food to our animals as there isn’t enough food in the paddocks to keep them going

01.01.2022 Thankfully we are back and running for a week now Tours are smaller in number so we can self distance better and everyone has to wear a face mask, but a small inconvenience to put up with to enable us to keep underground tours going. The horses are so glad to have people around again Especially to get a spare scone from Maggie
