15.01.2022 GUIDELINES FOR DONATIONS - Please read and help us out THANK YOU for your donations and your shopping! Both help our community. HOWEVERwe need your help because some donation practices double our work and cost us money not good when we are trying to get as much money as possible back to the community! ... So here are some requests/rules: Donations: Please donate during open hours only & one hour prior to closing time 10-3 W & F & 10-1 Sat. Please donate only ITEMS IN SALEABLE CONDITION clean and working not broken, scratched or ripped, stained, missing parts, etc. Please do not donate items that should go to the tip we have to pay for the tip just like you do, and money that goes to the tip from the Op Shop does not go to the community where it should be. Leaving items that are unsaleable or are really rubbish to avoid going to the tip is considered dumping and littering and will be prosecuted. We use cameras to monitor the parking area and out back and we will follow up. Sorry, but that’s reality. We DO NOT take mattresses or large furniture, even if in the past we have done so. We do not have space for these. Please advertise these yourself on social media. We do sometimes know of people who could use these items so you are welcome to tell us about the items, send us photos, give us your phone number and we can let our contacts know. o Furniture we CAN use if in good condition: bookcases, small dining tables and chairs, bedside tables. We do not take computer printers and computer keyboards, as they do not sell please take them to the e-waste at the tip that’s free! o We can accept laptop and tablet computers if they are in perfect working order. Please choose donations of toys and children’s furniture and clothes carefully please no toys with missing or broken parts or stained, ripped or soiled clothes. If in doubt, please ask us or bring or send photos. Let’s make it work for all of us. Thank you for adhering to these guidelines! Our community and our volunteers will be the better for it.

05.01.2022 Another Xmas Cheer Day of Giving successfully completed. Phew! Many thanks to our community & local business for supporting us. Our community partners, Central... Highlands Rural Health, Daylesford Foundation, Daylesford Rotary, Variety, Daylesford Community Op Shop, Grampians Disability Advocacy -Daylesford have worked timelessly providing love support & cheer. Many thanks to our fabulous Committee, President Michelle, Secretary Margaret, Treasurer Danny, Kaylene, Michelle, Trish, Maggie, Glenda & Gordon. Our special helpers on day, David, Jim, Sharon, Sheryl & Jess, along with our all year helper Brian.
