23.01.2022 It was a beautiful day for the Junior Club Championships. In this Under 10 Years match Lola Santorini edged out Eve Righetti to win in a game full of long rallies.

15.01.2022 It is with regret that Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club announces that all tennis competitions have been cancelled. To repeat we have cancelled Thursday night tennis, Junior tennis, Saturday senior tennis and open court sessions on Monday. We will arrange for prizes and awards to be given to all Junior tennis award winners. It was a difficult decision but consistent with the advice of Tennis Australia and health experts

A reminder that there is no Junior Tennis on the long weekend. Tennis resumes on Saturday March 14 and the final Junior tennis and presentation takes place on Saturday March 21st.

05.01.2022 Junior Club Championships this Saturday morning. Parent and member volunteers most welcome for scoring, BBQ and canteen. Juniors love an audience so pop in and cheer them on!

04.01.2022 DLTC needs a senior player’s help with Saturday morning juniors who are transitioning from HotShots to competition play. We have a group of 5-8 enthusiastic young players aged 8-12 yo who want to build their skills so they can eventually play in the competition. Over the November/December sessions the kids want to improve their shot-making and serving and will also learn about etiquette and court safety. One of the parents is also helping with the group. Currently we have... a senior player working with them from 9.30 to 10.30 each Saturday (with set up from about 9.15) but we need a replacement for 3 weeks from Sat 28 Nov to Sat 12 Dec. Ideally the replacement would be able to attend on either Sat 14 Nov or Sat 21 Nov to see the practicalities of the session. Any reasonably competent player can fill this position, but a current Working with Children check is essential, unless the person is a registered teacher or a parent volunteering in an activity in which their child is participating, or normally participates.
