23.01.2022 Swedish photographer Lennart Nilsson spent 12 years of his life taking pictures of the fetus Developing in the womb. These incredible photographs were taken wi...th conventional cameras with macro lenses, an endoscope and scanning electron microscope. Nilsson used a magnification of hundreds of thousands and worked right in the womb. His first photo of the human fetus was taken in 1965.

15.01.2022 A note from Milika, the new DfG Fiji West Team Leader. My awareness started at the customs warehouse in Nadi Fiji. Four customs officers all females were given an education on why Days for Girls is important to women's sanitation and health. At the end of the education I handed out 4 Days for Girls kits. One female officer asked me to come and speak to their village women & another to their immediate supervisor. This is all part of Days for Girls outreach. Two of the boxes of DfG kits are now heading to Suva for distribution by Homes Of hope Suva Fiji. 11.01.2022 Winona Bedford, an Australian born film producer, travelled overseas earlier this year to work in an orphanage located in the hills of the jungle of Sri Lanka. 22 young girls lived there, aged 4 - 16 years olds. These girls have all come from challenging and unimaginable circumstances, had limited access to basic needs such as clean clothes and menstrual hygiene products. Winona was able to bless each girl with individual Days for Girls sustainable, washable and reusable san...itary kit. She brought the gifts in for the girls and they were absolutely thrilled, each feeling a sense of individuality and identity as they received gifts that were all so beautifully designed and presented. Each having their own designed DfG drawstring bag to hold their new found woman's gift in.
