24.01.2022 So I've learned the mess involved in backyard/Studio renovations can be tiring/stressful and take a little longer than expected...Here are some of the little things that have recently kept me motivated/inspired throughout... New scripture wall sticker in my home gym ordered on EBay from U.S. Sweet rug/yoga mat for the outdoor studio from ebay made in China. They were very kind to change the background to white for me instead of black. Short drop sheer curtains from Spotlight ...for the outdoor gazebo which look lovely. We used one of my daughter's old pink bead necklaces for a curtain tieback which looks beautiful. Handcrafted wooden mirror donated by my brother in law. Fairy lights hung by my hubby (that was a while ago). One of my recent art projects admist the backyard chaos was upcycling a gas heater that no longer functioned. So I carefully dismantled it (not a job for children), painted it (leftover Dulux tenzing quarter paint mixed with white), One part is a bird bath/feeder (old fry pan on top with plastic party sectional tray insert), The other part is the basin fountain. Initially I had the fountain resting on the ground, however the other day I built a little pedestal around to sit it up using some broken bits of concrete from removed posts in what will be the spa area...I've used a hairdryer part that I don't use to run the hose through for the fountain which makes a nice relaxing sound... Some people in my household think the upcycled fountain is very weird, lol! It was fun and I like it. While the corrugated iron ceiling in the gazebo is very Aussie, I'm thinking I might try stylise it using white tarpolin, using white nails to hang it, which will offer some insulation, easy to clean, cost effective, moisture resistant etc... The painting of a nail represents 1 child that dies every 5 minutes as a result of violence. It usually costs around $40 to get our nails done at the salon, so I thought thats a nice donation amount many of us could sacrifice for a really worthwhile cause this October. 14.01.2022 If you are spending increased time at home these days, try out some dream home design. Its lots of fun and there are many great design apps and programs available to download and try. Here is my start to a dream Day Spa Parties Manor floorplan! You can scroll around in 3D mode. I couldnt find how to include a roof in this program, but I have my vision and drawings . https://home.by.me/en/project/shev/duplicate-of-dsp-manor The guest wing for retreats includes a living area... (cathedral ceilling) and area to host events, library/art room, dance studio, indoor pool (retractable ceiling), spa, gym, long hall which would be an art gallery, guest accommodation, laundry and bathrooms. The family living is open with the main bedrroom downstairs and large childrens/youth bedrooms and living upstairs. There are outdoor entertainment areas for both family and guest use. The family living which would be high cathedral ceilings has access to a large home office designed for home based work and training which also has seperate entry near the garage. Designed for an acreage farmstay property, so my next design efforts may be the stables, and farmhand cottage. See more

The story tells of all the excitement leading up to the party such as sending invitations, cooking and decorating for the party. The day of the party is all about fun and friendship and is ful...l of party games and fabulous activities. More in depth background notes on the story: The themes about the party itself are facts, based around how actual Day Spa Party events were planned with the aim of joy, fun, friendship and self esteem and team building for young girls. The introduction, however is somewhat fiction and based around what my hopes for my own mum growing up were. She was so caring and creative, however life had thrown many battles her way and to others she cared about. I wished she didnt feel she needed to wear a mask and sought help from her kind friends to help her through her battles. I wished she could feel loved, safe and beautiful. 06.01.2022 Beautiful Spring morning here in Pakenham, Vic. So I was out of my almond milk by the time I came around for more 2nd morning coffee... I thought, I'd try a shot of coffee (Aldi Expressi Perugia) over a couple heaped spoons of one of my fave yoghurts (Jalna Greek pot set sweet & creamy vanilla coconut flavoured, Coles) with some sprinkled crushed almonds on top. Bit like an affogato. Delicious! Perfect start before some more backyard work today... Only around 7cm more of digging to go before the concrete slab can be booked in for the swim spa which is going inground. We purchased a used Sapphire Spa earlier this year off Gumtree. I'll send some pics through at a later stage of how it all goes....

04.01.2022 Day Spa Parties would like to thank customers and suppliers and staff for your support over the last 10 years. It has been an absolute joy and privilege to be able to spread joy and encouragement in your lives, with fun and pampering. Please note, I am currently having a break so am not taking bookings. I will be enjoying more quality time with my family Justin, Jordan and Sienna. I would like to continue working with young girls in future. Depending on finance, this will hop...efully be based at a lifestyle retreat for you to come and visit and would also incorporate fun fitness activities as I am now a qualified Personal Trainer. A previous post mentioned 2024 as the year for events to kick off again, however it could be sooner so stay tuned. My daughter is also looking forward to helping host parties in a few years when she is a bit older. In the meantime heres one of my favourite songs for you to enjoy.
