The past couple of weeks have been lovely as we've begun opening the cattery slowly and have been enjoying the company of a few feline friends We impatiently wait to be outnumbered by cats once again as restrictions (hopefully) continue to lift If you're thinking about boarding then please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected] to enquire! At this stage we are fully booked over Christmas but will be happy to pop your name on a waiting li...st Please also look into your cats vaccination status as we need everyone up to date to come and stay with us! Pepper is so keen to visit that she has jumped in the shower to make herself clean and presentable for us! Pepper is a weirdo when it comes to water and we are very used to her sticking her head under the tap at the Cattery, so we aren't surprised that the showering you see here is actually a very common occurrence

24.01.2022 The restrictions in place during 2020 due to COVID-19 have seen some amazing things happen. Pollution levels and greenhouse gas emissions have dropped significantly, cityscapes that are usually teeming with people are all but deserted and in some places wild animals have ventured into areas they cannot usually go because of humans. Behold our contribution to these phenomena - a spotted turtleneck dove has constructed a nest on top of the cattery outdoor enclosure! I hope for the birds’ sake that the few cats we have boarding over the next few weeks are peaceable

We just wanted to let you all know that we are starting to slowly get the cattery up and running At this time we are open for essential bookings, so if you would like to contact us please do so at [email protected] Please note that there are a few changes as we find our feet and have a very reduced amount of cats! Our hours will be slightly different, therefore it is best to EMAIL instead of call as we are not consistently checking our phone.... Because of our altered hours we are also doing admissions and discharges by appointment only. This time will be organised with you upon booking :) Please don't hesitate to email us at [email protected] to enquire about boarding or to ask any questions We look forward to being able to be up and running normally, and we thank everyone for their patience during this necessary 'slow start' that we are still finding our feet with We can't wait to have cats like gorgeous Malika staying with us again

Everyone at D.B Boarding, as well as a very comfortable looking Gertie, would like to take a moment to appreciate all the fantastic vet nurses in our lives People may not realise how much the nurses do for our cats in the cattery They are always happy to come down and help us hold for a nail clip or help with medicating a squirming cat! And they are NEVER too busy to come and cuddle anyone who needs some extra love, cats AND cattery staff From the ...cattery we see the insanely busy days, the long hours on their feet, the hurt of losing animals and the occasional (unfortunately) cranky clients. Yet in the face of all that their focus, caring and love for their job and their patients never wavers! If you have a vet nurse in your life don't forget to let them know that they are doing an AMAZING and very important job We'll certainly be telling ours today See more
