25.01.2022 Putting together the next couple of weeks programming has been challenging. With group training its very easy to get carried away with focusing on what most of the group can do, but its the planning of the sessions for those who are unable to do specific exercises that is most important. Keeping all clients focused on what they are safely able to complete and achieve is my focus and always has been. Message me if you are ready to exercise, but unsure where to start, I am su...re I can modify my group sessions to suit most people. Sessions continue from Monday 21st September 2020. 24.01.2022 In these very uncertain times, I have made the call to temporarily suspend my Fitness Sessions at @Joe's Basecamp, Millers Reserve and Allambie Heights Oval. While I think as at today, I am still permitted to train people, I believe it is not the socially correct thing to do at this moment. My existing client base has accepted this as a must do, so I am very comfortable with this decision. I am still willing to work with people remotely but also understand that this may no...t work for everyone. I will be working within the current groups challenge them during this period of uncertainty. If anyone would like to work with me individually, please feel free to contact me via this page and we can discuss some options. Until then its some quiet time. Hopefully everyone gets through this unscathed, and we can return to some level of normality soon. See more

I currently run small group sessions at Allambie Heights Oval on Tues and Thursday mornings at 630am. I cater for all age groups from 18-80. ... If its strength, cardio, football based or just general fitness and you want to get your 2020 fitness journey off to a great start, then just touch base. Getting fit and healthy can be easier and cheaper than you think. I also have sessions at Millers Reserve Manly Vale, Wednesday evenings at 630pm, and at Joe's Basecamp at Brookvale on Sunday mornings and Monday evenings. If these times dont suit then still touch base with me get the new decade off to a flying start.

20.01.2022 Client Success #1. 8 weeks ago, as I started planning how this PT business would develop, my wife suggested that I look at training her. The pro's and con's of training your wife are for another days discussion, but I gave it a go. From someone who had been doing Yoga regularly and was not overweight, she was advised by a number of qualified people to get more strength work in. Not having run more than trying to keep up with our Border Collie on walks since her teenage years,... we tread the water slowly. After a couple of weeks we started on the local Park Run (5km). after 2 of these, I suggested the Sun Run (7km) would be a good target a month away. Well.. today she completed that run. It wasn't about the time, it was about the finish line. With the last 1km of the race her quickest, I think we can both be proud of the achievement. Well done Lynda !! Great work - Your first BIB and your first medal. Only 6 shoeboxes to fill to catch me :). See more

19.01.2022 My 3rd attempt at a post over the last few days with a rapidly changing outlook. The council has closed all fields this week, so unfortunately with the Gym already shut, I am going to have to cancel the sessions for this week. If you feel you need to get out and do something during this time, please reach out and I can grab a bodyweight session and send it to you. I'm all good with that, having been down this path earlier in the year, so dont be afraid :). ... Its been a mixed year with Covid, but despite that most of you have made significant improvements in your fitness and I hope to be able to help you continue that in 2021. Dont forget new pricing starts in 2021 so lock a few more sessions in if you havent already. 16.01.2022 Random fact over 100 people ran 20:20 on Jan 1 at Park Run.. how cool Park run ! - My local PR is at Curl Curl - Did you know its community based, no cost run/walking.Its not a race, its an event. Its taken off across the world with 100s of events every week. It certainly is worth a visit on a regular basis. Its changed so many lives globally. 11.01.2022 Tackling a Park Run - So Friday was by my terms 'a back to the 80's lunch. To be honest it was mostly people I worked with in the 80s and 90s at some point, so ...it really was about reminiscing. So why not have a lunch that went for 6 hours or thereabouts. Anyway, I got out today as planned. Was it pretty? - no! was it fast? a big NO !! Was it fun ? mostly not ! Did I get it done - YES ! The point here is I had gone into Friday having had a run session in the morning knowing the lunch was happening. I also committed to get my ass out of bed Saturday and 'pay an additional cost' for the lunch. Certainly cleared the cobwebs and while I was well within the comfort zones in terms of times, I got it done. This time of year is tough if you enjoy the socialising. Its generally not great for your health and you certainly need to ensure you don't over indulge. For me, also on the back of 6 weeks of food, wine and little exercise while on the road to Tassie its certainly a test of will power to 'get back on the fitness horse'. With still 25 days until Christmas and 3 functions next weekend its going to be challenging times ahead. 07.01.2022 Dont run a session without first testing the timing. I was pretty sure I had this one right and in the end I did. But thought why not give this a go, before the 630pm crew turn up.. At least I did the half queshies before they got there.. The larger climbs are followed by a number of small stair repeats while the guys did their first 20 mins up and down some stauirs. Fortunately week 9 of 10 for some of these guys and its starting to show. Followed by some bodyweight exercises and 20m sprints and finished off with some core.. 07.01.2022 Its no secret that December is a month where the festive season, family get togethers' and the holidays that come with this time of year tend to push the boundaries of your fitness. Turn that around in 2019, push back against the trend and finish the year off well. Don't workout because you splurged. If you really have to splurge or indulge then do it as a reward. You may find that mentally your mind will drive the attitude that 'Why waste all the exercise effort ?' or 'Do...nt go backwards' or even 'You have worked hard to get fitter, dont blow it now', or 'Ive just spent $$$ getting myself to a good level of fitness, why throw that money away ?' 01.01.2022 We enter the last week of our sessions this week. Still room for a few more who may want to see what its all about before I take my break from next Sunday, just message me for details for Monday and Wednesday sessions. I’ve emailed a couple of workouts for the Monnday and Wednesday crew to review these and let me know if they aren’t clear. Its been a great 12 months nearly since I started working in the Fitness Industry. I’ve learned a lot that’s for sure and look forward... to continuing the journey with all the current guys and girls as well as adding a few more. Sunday Sessions will restart 24th November and the Mond/Wed will start 25th and run for 4 weeks. Looking forward to getting ready for Christmas. A small break during Christmas then its on to 2020 already !!
