20.01.2022 BMW X5 40d Service and rear brakes replacement. Today we carried out a service and rear brakes replacement on a long time loyal clients X5. The service consisted of: - Engine oil and filter change... - Engine air and cabin filter set change - Rear brake pads, discs and wear sensors replacement. The brake discs have a minimum wear thickness, when they are below the minimum the must be replaced. Once all work was complete, a final test and wash inside out was carried out ready for customer collection.

19.01.2022 BMW X3 Rear brake pads and wear sensor replacement.

19.01.2022 Land Rover Discovery 4 Oil leak. We inspected this lovely Disco 4 for an oil leak, upon inspection we found that the leak was quite extensive. We found that the oil filter housing which sits in the valley was leaking. The client was advised and also made aware of a couple of plastic items in the same area that could be affected could require replacing to save any unwanted news after the fact. Once stripped down and cleaned thoroughly a new complete oil filter housing, oil sep...arator and coolant connector were replaced. Some of the vacuum lines were also replaced along the way. The area was cleaned, cooling system bled and road tested. Upon reinspection found some residue had come out, this was recleaned and retested to find no more leak.

17.01.2022 Last Friday was a busy day servicing 2 vehicles for some old friends. Vehicles serviced were: 2018 Mazda CX5 40,000km service. This service comprised of engine oil and filter change, air and pollen/cabin filter changes along with a brake fluid system flush fill and bleed.... 2016 Subaru QV 50,000km service. This service included engine oil and filter change along with air and pollen/cabin filters also requiring replacement. 14.01.2022 Volvo XC90 front and rear brake pads replacement. We inspected the brakes and found that the front and rear brake pads were worn out though discs were ok. Brake pads were replace, topped up all fluids as required and road tested to bed in brakes.... The vehicle was cleaned and delivered back to the client. We then picked up a Ford Ranger and carried out a 141,000km service. The service comprised: - Engine oil and filter change - Air filter and Cabin/Pollen filters replacement - Full vehicle inspection and electronic scan The service was completed by cleaning it inside and out and delivering it back to the client. This particular pump was a straight replacement with no vehicle programming required.... Once completed, a functional test was carried out all being ok with no error codes.

11.01.2022 BMW X5 Airbag light on. We looked into why the airbag light was on, we carried out a scan to confirm logged errors in the system. 10.01.2022 BMW 320i Blowing smoke on take off, blowing smoke at idle. My baby was causing me some embarrassing moments when on take off it was blowing quite abit of smoke and also having regular top ups of engine oil. From experience I knew the valve stem seals were the cause however there is a way to do them on the car with the right tools abit of patience and some good music to listen to. The full set of valve stem seals were replaced, my vehicle also needed to have the camshaft sproc...kets replaced as they were locking into their rest stops. I replaced the rocker cover gasket and associated seals. Once all parts were replaced, I tested the vehicle and was pleased to find no more embarrassing smoke coming from the tailpipe any more. 10.01.2022 Range Rover Sport oil leaks diagnosis and repair, central locking system repair. Recently we inspected this Range Rover Sport after being referred to us for oil leak inspection. The disappointing thing for clients is that they only had the vehicle service recently with report of a leak but with no remedy apart from being to sold to sell the car and they should have brought a Toyota. Upon inspection it was clear the leak was quite substantial. We found that the oil filter hous...ing was leaking into the valley and down the back side of the gearbox. The oil filter housing was replaced along side with the oil separator and coolant housing under the throttle housing. The wash down was extensive and cooling system bled. A test was carried out and re inspection to find no more leaks and dirty garage for the client. Central locking repair. When locking the client complained of drivers door not locking, some basic testing found the drivers door lock actuator wasn't working. The door lock was replace, codes cleared and tested all ok. 07.01.2022 BMW 4.8is Service and Oil leaks repair. We carried out a major service of a beautiful X5 for referral clients. The service consisted of:... - Oil and filter change - Air and Cabin filters replacement - Spark plugs replacement - Brake fluid system flush fill and bleed - Cooling system refill and bleed The client advised if we could investigate an oil leak, upon inspection we found a leak coming from the oil filter housing oring which is replaced when replacing the oil filter and we also found a leak coming from the power steering reservoir hoses. We replaced the hose clamps and refilled the reservoir. A thorough clean of the area was carried out and a respect found no leaks present. The beast was cleaned inside and out ready for client collection.
