It genuinely felt like Lisa was looking out for my interests when she worked hard in negotiating to extend the cooling-off period; it was helpful having more time in an instance where there was potential for things to go wrong due to negligence (but luckily things ended up being fine), Lisa was willing to do as much as possible to diminish the consequences of this negligence for me. Never... sign anything before consulting your conveyancer. If you are asked to sign a contract, request a copy of the contract first.
