13.01.2022 As this crazy year of 2020 draws to a close, we took time to reflect on those who have been through some really rough times this year in our local community. We reached out to Springwood Neighbourhood Centre Cooperative Ltd to find out about how we could assist them to give to families and individuals who may need a little bit of extra help at this time of year. Springwood Neighbourhood centre advised us they would really appreciate some financial support to fund their Emerg...ency Food Support program that operates right throughout this holiday period. As a result we’ve decided to have a silent auction of our beautiful floral display that sits on our cake fridge, made by the very talented Mia at Mimi Floristry. We will also have a tips jar out for any of you who would like to make a donation. On 24th December we will announce how much has been raised by all of our amazing customers and also reach out to the person who wins the silent auction of the floral display. Let’s dig deep so everyone in our community can enjoy this time of year

Collect a bucket and take it home to use in your compost. ... 3. Clean your bucket and return to our compost corner! P.s. We also leave our used coffee grounds here at the end of the day in a big, green, compostable bag, but be quick they don’t last long! We always strive to be conscious of our environmental impact here at Dbl and we love this simple way of reducing our wastage.
