23.01.2022 Technology saved the day trying to fish this broken injector tube tip out of a cylinder. Blowing air in just had it racing around inside the piston, so it had to be positioned at a point a claw could be fed in to grab it.

23.01.2022 A nice little trip to Brisbane to do a set of injector tubes and build a new relationship with a great workshop located in Brendale. Unfortunately parts supply spread this job out over 2 days but we got there.

06.01.2022 Faults. Everywhere you look faults, tests, calibrations, head scratching, zip tie cutting and if the stars line up. Fixing.

05.01.2022 So many wires, so many faults, so many issues the last few weeks.

03.01.2022 The EGR played the game today and we got it sorted with all the faults going inactive. Multiple wiring issues in the engine harness were causing the faults so a new harness was fitted along with a new turbo speed sensor and EGR differential pressure sensor. The last active fault was front diff temp which was a broken wire that was easily fixed. A test drive tomorrow will confirm EGR faults have been repaired but it looks positive and this lorry will be making a dollar again very soon.

02.01.2022 That first start.

02.01.2022 We got asked to take a look at a series 60 Kenworth with an engine brake issue last week, scan tools wouldn’t connect so they had nothing to go off. We arrived and found our computer wouldn’t connect, a bit of a dig and discovered the diagnostic plug pinned incorrectly. Swap wires, hook up successful, faults resolved, engine brake working.

01.01.2022 It was a full house on Thursday. Fuel pressure issues, injector faults, starting issues and a head bolt retension and oil cooler reseal.
