22.01.2022 DCALC are excited to be planting at the Dugulup Brook, adjacent to the new and wonderful Djiljit Mia. This work aims to return the Brook to a healthier ecosystem and to care for and connect to Country. We’d love you to join us! 22.01.2022 Some interesting research into our unique sea grass meadows, which is the largest in WA and extends as deep as 45 m below sea level. The 10 distinct species protect the coast line, support biodiversity and fisheries and store carbon. The research will look at ways to improve the monitoring of the sea grass health and the associated fish and algal communities.

21.01.2022 A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Committee Member Gail Musto and President Helena Nicholson this week. Thanks for contributing so much behind the scenes to create action. We have finished off the year with infill planting Blythe Reserve and removing corflutes from Windmills break revegetation area. After work we always enjoy fresh fruit brought by the hostess with the most, Jenny Buckley. So much achieved this year with local volunteers!

08.01.2022 Thank you everyone who lent a hand Sunday at the Dugulup Brook planting alongside the new Djiljit Mia playground. Such a great turn out and community atmosphere. 910 plants are now in the ground Bring on the next planting day of rushes and sedges at Dugulup in early Spring.

Join us 9 am, Sunday 2 Dec, to remove the green corflutes from the planted vegetation. Please... bring water wear sun protection Access to Windmills surf break is via the last left turn off from Cape Naturaliste Road, just before the light house. Meet in the car park.
