17.01.2022 I hope you find these tips helpful. What to do if your child sees pornography. These tips have all come from my book Hayden-Reece Learns What To Do if Children... See Private Pictures or Private Movies. https://safe4kids.com.au//hayden-reece-learns-children-se/

07.01.2022 Thought of the Moment: This is one of my favorite frameworks that I use frequently when speaking about trauma. What I am learning now is the current societal di...sruption in being able to relate in the usual ways to each other (proximity, touch, engagement) is a major challenge to the base of the inverted pyramid-regulation. We have to find synchrony and a good rhythm with each other (co-relationships) in other ways right now, I believe its critical. Reparative connection with others is a critical wellness experience that is the foundation for all regulation experiences. See more

01.01.2022 DO NOT SCROLL PAST - please take the time to read this investigative piece by HuffPost and SHARE. It is ESSENTIAL to be aware of how problematic YouTube is... for kids and identify suitable measures to protect your kids - we all want them to have fun online but in just a few clicks, little people can see content that can be incredibly traumatic. "In spite of YouTubes ban on gratuitous nudity, finding erotic content on the site is as easy as typing sexy into the search bar. Users who go looking for it, however, may quickly and unintentionally wind up watching videos of children that could be sexually arousing to pedophiles. Clicking on just one or two clips showing partially clothed children can plunge users into an echo chamber comprising little else, HuffPost found." "Parents need to know they cant trust YouTube to protect their kids." Haley McNamara, National Center on Sexual Exploitation Haley is absolutely correct A month ago when the Porn Resilient Kids team conducted some research on how easy it was to find pornography on various social media platforms, we reported that it took us less than 60 seconds on YouTube to find X18+ content After typing the word SEX into YouTube the results included: Husband Accidentally Puts Habanero Spice up Wifes Yaya / Sex sent me to the ER Hot erotic porn video/xxx sex/Sex Pornstars Film Semi Japan 18+++ Girlfriend 2019 Full movie HD Full Sex HD Twenty Seven HD to name a few... What was alarming was the fact that we got the same results with parental controls enabled for a child of 6 years old. We got the same results when we used the following settings in Screen Time on an iOS device: Explicit Language - dont allow Web Content - limit adult websites The only way we could restrict a child finding this material was by simply restricting apps to 4+ in Screen Time on an iOS device which basically equates to NOT allowing the app. It is well known that exposure to pornography desensitises children to the requests of predators. We would urge you to reconsider allowing your child access to YouTube without close parental supervision. Parental Controls will not protect your child from this. https://www.huffingtonpost.ca//youtube-pedophile-paradise_
