25.01.2022 Big night at the WAFC Media Awards last night at Optus Stadium. Its always humbling being in the same room as current and past legends of the sport and sport media such Denis Cometti and Nathan Fyfe. Standing in front of them all to receive not one but four awards was astonishing. The award that has floored me was winning the "Womens Football Media" Award which was open to all media coverage including TV, radio, print, online and photography. Thanks to WAFC for hosting an ...amazing night and massive thanks to my wife Renae for encouraging me to pursue this passion job to the best of my abilities. AFL AFL Womens Nikon

19.01.2022 Over the past week Ive been very lucky to have been loaned the new Nikon 180-400mm f/4E VR TC lens at the Australian PGA Championship. Nikon are amazing for facilitating this! I love those guys. Its a revision to the 200-400mm f4 that I currently use with my D5s for Golf and other daylight sports. Hows it run? ... Pretty damn well! Its a very decent upgrade to the 200-400mm in a few ways. Faster to focus, holds focus better and longer, sharper across the zoom range and that built in 1.4x TC (making it a 560mm f5.6). That extra instant zoom is incredibly useful for Golf where you have to run and gun positions and be super still with what you have. Do I want one? Absolutely. Its a cracker of a lens. Should I upgrade my 200-400mm? Its incredibly tempting. The only thing holding me back is the new price otherwise Id do it in a heartbeat. Heartbeat. #nikon #nikonD5

19.01.2022 Got a chance to have a snoop around at this super cool and minimalist cafe in Central Park Perth and take some photos while at it. With no elite sport around to shoot, coffee, food and great interior design is nice direction to persue.

18.01.2022 Cracking end to a massive week on the Gold Coast. Adam Scott just too good at hitting little white balls! Working with the legends at the PGA of Australia on the Australian PGA Championship is a yearly highlight. Thanks guys!

10.01.2022 When you get through a 15 minutes shoot in 13.5 minutes... you snap a couple of super quick portraits in the remaining time. Tim was a champ. 37deg C and the shoot was right in the middle of the day.
