24.01.2022 Hi lovely people Posting today so we can notify everyone that we are now at FULL CAPACITY for this months market! so we are unable to take any more bookings for stallholders sorry. We are compiling a callback list and if we get any more enquires, we'll pop your name on this and let you know if we have any cancellations.... We would sincerely like to thank everyone that has made our market a huge success so far and we apologise to the lovely people that are missing out this market but we'll endeavour to have all of you join us at our future markets. 23.01.2022 Market dates 2020/2021 Markets are usually held the 3rd Sunday of the month at Southgate shopping centre with a couple of exceptions of venue and dates. Time: 10am-2pm. This is NOT our usual Christmas Market, (that's on the 15th) we are holding this one to say Thank You to ProjectX for bringing their awesome installation to our little Town If you haven't checked the shipping container out yet, go and have a peek through the little portholes!!! 14.01.2022 Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well? I needed to post as something really exciting is happening with our market and in our small town! Firstly, Dover Community Mums Market will now be in the expert hands of our local community group DASAG, Dover & South Action Group, our name will change to simply "Dover Market" and stall fees will be set at $5 which will cover you insurance wise while at our market, same place, same great atmosphere but more organised for a big ...future Secondly, DASAG have recently taken over the tiny kiosk in Southgate shopping centre, this space will become Dover's "Community Hub" a place for visitors to get ideas on local attractions, eateries, businesses and will also have a collection of local goodies for sale, this hub will be manned by local volunteers with local knowledge and friendly smiles. This is a fantastic addition to Dover. Finally, we are having a "Grand Opening" of the community hub on Sunday the 16th August from 10am-2pm, which is also normal market date and we are seeking stallholders. There will be ice cream and coffee on offer plus the Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be officially launching the Dover Community Hub at 11am. We have the wonderful - Yeasty Beasty doughnuts Concordia skincare Kaye Coulson with her jams & baked goods Eunice Dewhurst with her knitted toys. that are attending so far and we would like to add more range to our market stalls. 10.01.2022 Hope everyone is ready and looking forward to a great family day Sunday? Would you like a stall at the Christmas party? Info posted below if you're interested;... No charge for stallholders at the Christmas Market, all are warmly welcome to attend. Market from 11-1, set up from 10.15. All stalls will be adjacent to Kent Beach Rd between the bridge and the playground on the grassed area. Stallholders will need to bring their own table and chairs, marquee if required - pretty much BYO everything you'll need. There is plenty of space to fill so the more stalls the merrier for Christmas cheer! Pop your name and what you're selling (so people can get excited ) in the comments if you'd like to attend and have a stall There will be plenty on offer to eat and drink. It's an undercover market - so rain, hail or shine it will be a great day. There will be sanitiser stationed at each entrance and we will need everyone to comply with social distancing measures in order to allow this market to grow and continue into the future.
