25.01.2022 This project was a stamped concrete driveway that had previously been coated with a concrete sealer. The surface was degreased and pressure cleaned then allowed... to dry. Then once dry, the surface was scrubbed with Nutech Reactivating Solvent and allowed to dry once more for an additional 48 hours. The Reactivating Solvent softens the existing sealer and helps subsequent coats bond together. Just prior to painting using PaveCoat Beige, a garden blower was used to remove any loose leaves and debris fromt the surface. The first 2 coats of PaveCoat paint were applied using a soft bristle household broom. The broom is used to scrub over the surface and spread the sealer throughout the grooves. The broom also helps the existing and new coats to bond as the sealer is basically brushed onto the surface. Finaly, a coat of sealer was applied using a roller and a broom, this left a smooth finish and the broom was used to stop product pooling in the grooves. The area in this example was approximately 300m2 and the results look amazing. View PaveCoat here: https://nutechpaint.com.au/prod/concrete/pavecoat/pavecoat/

13.01.2022 Delaminating Slate Impression Restoration - Using NuEcosafe Industrial Stripper and PaveCoat Concrete Sealer. This video shows how the old sealer coating is removed back to the bare slate impression surface using a 4000psi petrol pressure cleaner to do to the job.

07.01.2022 Restoring a tired slate impression is done easily with Nutech. This very old slate impression surface had delaminated and turned silvery white over time. At th...is stage recoating will not improve the appearance and the old sealer requires removal. The area of restoration was 130m2 and 3 x 20L drums of NuEcosafe Industrial Stripper was used to cover this area and allowed to dwell for 2 hours. The stripper migrated through several layers of old sealer breaking the bond between the coating & the substrate. The surface was then high pressure cleaned using a 4000psi petrol pressure cleaner. The coating is totally removed back to the bare slate impression surface. Finally, Two coats of Nutech Pavecoat concrete sealer were applied. The first coat was diluted 50:50 with Pavecoat Thinners and saturation applied. The second coat was applied undiluted. Approximately 35L per coat was used to complete this project.
