25.01.2022 Have you got timber stored under your house? Water leaks? A lack of ventilation?... Do you know what’s going on under the house? Guess who knew about this timber? It’s not a great place to spend your spare time, that’s why you pay a professional to do the dirty work. Get a thorough inspection and get some solid advice.... not like this timber. 24.01.2022 What’s eating my carpet? Shhhh! Listen! maybe that’s not just the hubby smashing the Doritos again. When was the last time you moved the furniture off your woolen carpet and had a look at what’s happening down there?... It’s not often that the furniture is pulled out to allow accesss for the vacuum cleaner and it’s generally only then that damage caused by dreaded Clothes Moth & Carpet Beetle is discovered. They love the good stuff Woolen’s, silks, cotton’s, fur’s, it’s like a trip to Moth Maccas So have a look before there’s too much damage to carpets and clothes. 21.01.2022 Moisture stains on the ceiling may not be the result of a roof leak, but may be the result of a rat leak. Don’t call a roof plumber- you need a pest inspection & treatment. 19.01.2022 Timber pest inspections - They are so important! Engage a professional (preferably me) to give your No. 1 asset the once over. Minimal cost for the peace of mind it will give you. Whilst conducting an inspection today I popped this lead open and uncovered a termite super highway travelling from the soil up into the dwelling. Was there damage ? Yes there was, but it’s been found early so it’s limited..

16.01.2022 When rodents are entering your house, it’s not always easy to work out exactly HOW or WHERE. The WHY is obvious... its warm and there’s easy access to food and water. Rodents will chew their way in, they don’t need much room to wiggle their way in - they will leave dirty little rub marks if they have been using an access point for a while- they look like this. This is the inside of a pantry - granted it’s an older house and not finished the way newer houses are but the evidence tells a story.

15.01.2022 Today I came across a work of art in a roof cavity - it was occupied. It was in the lowest, tightest, part of the roof and I was at full stretch laid out flat trying not to fall through the ceiling hence the grunting and groaning.
