17.01.2022 COVID-19 Notice Darling Downs Hatchery Australia COVID-19: The health and safety of customers and staff is our highest priority.... If you have been asked to self-isolate due to potential exposure to COVID-19 please do not attend to pick up any orders of any kind. Social distancing measures are in place at both our farms. We ask that all customers who come to collect orders bring their own carriers for transport of poultry and please use hand sanitizer before and after arrival. In our chook world, everyone is trying to become as self-sufficient as they can be, hence the massive increase in demand for POL Hens, Day Old Chicks and Day-Old Meat Chicks. Please see below measures we have to implement until further notice with our supply availability. Deliveries will continue as scheduled unless advised otherwise. Only estimated/routinely ordered quantities will be available for each individual client. Day Old hatches will still occur every Monday. Demand is High as well. Please note there is currently extended waiting times. Waiting times for orders to be dispatched will not exceed 4 weeks. Thank you for your patience and good health to all.

13.01.2022 As Christmas is getting closer, we would like to advise that our last hatch for the year will be December 17th 2018. Our first hatch for 2019 will be due on the 7th January 2019. 07.01.2022 As you would be aware we have not raised our prices for a number of years. Due to increases in feed pricing and other factors, we have no other option but to raise our prices on some of our products. This will take effect from Monday 17 February 2020. The price increase will be as follows.... .50c per Point of Lay Cross Pullet .20c per Day Old Cross Pullet .10c per Meat Chic .05c per Commercial Fertile egg A copy of our updated price list will be uploaded shortly. :)

03.01.2022 ***KHAKI CAMPBELL DUCKS*** Just to let everyone know, we have introduced new breeding stock to our Khaki Campbell breeding program so we won't have any adult Khaki Campbell Ducks or Drakes available for approximately 2 years. We will however expect ducklings this coming spring. Thanks :)
