The business is looking to establish a warehouse in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. About the Role We are seeking a hands-on person to carry out all aspects of receiving palletised goods in bulka bags and unloading bulk trucks.... Personal safety and attention to detail while delivering the highest level of service to our clients are of the highest priorities for IGH. IGH is seeking a highly energetic and enthusiastic person with demonstrated experience in a range of logistical activities, who is able to take responsibility and work independently. Key Responsibilities Implement the highest OH&S standards in all aspects of operations Liaise with IGH clients and maintain seamless supply of product Managing all aspects of day to day warehouse operations Manage small team of staff Unloading palletised product Decanting bulka bags into a bunker Loading bulk trucks with an articulated front-end loader Maintaining accurate records of all product movements Keep warehouse clean and orderly Necessary Licenses/Operating Equipment Counter balance Forklift (LF) Articulated Front End Loader Driving a Single Semi Tipper (HC) Must have current licences and demonstrated necessary experience for operating heavy combination trucks, articulated frontend loaders and forklifts. Key selection criteria Enthusiastic Can Do attitude and happy to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Current experience in operating trucks, articulated front end loaders and forklifts Demonstrated ability to organise and manage product movement through warehouses Demonstrated ability to manage small team of staff. Demonstrated understanding of safe working practices Excellent communication skills This role would suit an experienced truck driver who prefers not to be stuck in a truck all day and knows how to make things happen.
