23.01.2022 G’day, I’m Noah, just finished my last VCE exam this week and am super keen to see how the Lord can use me doing the PIM Gap Year in 2021. I am excited to be ab...le to see firsthand how PIM serves people and to be a part of that. I am so grateful to have this opportunity to be a part of the Gap Year program. I think I’m most excited to learn about life on a property and gain those skills that are so important from fencing to managing livestock and at the same time participating in the Timothy Partnership and growing skills in evangelism and discipleship. Set in the wheatbelt of central New South Wales, New Dunesk is for the whole church. It is a place where everyone will catch the vision. A place where Jillaroos and Jackaroos network, Grey Nomads are trained and resourced, and Gap Year students gain... a heart for the bush. It is a place that will see churches bush camping together, and travellers being drawn in for rest. It is where PIMs past can be remembered and its future expanded. PIM will never forget the enthusiastic applause when the plan for New Dunesk was presented to the General Assembly of Australia in 2019. The bold plan reminded many of an ambitious vision set by John Flynn. We are convinced that New Dunesk is our faithful and contemporary response to the great commission of Christ. Rural Australia continues to present our church with a need. PIM has responded with a workable and sustainable ministry plan. The national Church has endorsed our vision but now we need you to join with us to realise that vision.
