12.01.2022 FIVE FABULOUS YEARS OF THE PROMS Come join Dean and Sophistication for a Night at the Proms. Everything that is the Proms, Marches, Opera, Bagpipes, My Fair Lady to You’ll Never Walk Alone, Scotland the Brave to Tom Jones. Dean Doyle with Sophistication will be joined by special guests the Ballina Shire Concert Band, the Ballina Pipe Band and Soprano Katie Rutledge from Opera Queensland.... The show will feature Dean Doyle performing with Sophistication and a special performance of Bui Doi from Miss Saigon with the Ballina Shire Concert Band. Drummer Paul Belsham will feature, along with special performances from Narelle Harris our fabulous Concert Pianist. The Ballina Shire Band have wonderful new repertoire for the evening, and the Ballina Pipe Band highlights include a heart rending version of Flower of Scotland and the wonderful Highland Cathedral. Our guest vocalist for the evening is the exquisite Soprano Katie Rutledge. Katie lives locally and travels to Brisbane regularly to perform with Opera Queensland. Il mio bambino caro from the Puccini Opera Gianni Schicchi and songs and duets from Phantom of the Opera are some of the many highlights from the evening. Dean and Katie sing duets including All I Ask from the Phantom of the Opera, and the stirring You Raise Me Up. So come along and join us. Singing voices and Union Jacks are welcome. See more

From the great musical films by Rodgers and Hammerstein through to stage musicals like The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserable, Miss Saigon, to some of the wonderful film themes from the last 60 years, Dean, Brian, Narelle and Paul will produce soaring melodies and gorgeous solos, duets and trios. Accompanying the beautiful voices of Dean Doyle and Brian Pamphilon, are the fabulous pianist and vocalist Narelle Harris, and Paul Belsham on the drums. Narelle and Paul have their own following and will feature in their own right with Piano and Drum solos. It’s a show that you simply won’t forget!
