13.01.2022 Another innovation for silos: Im calling this the Hopper Mate. It is a guard that fits inside our small (and very light) plastic silo hoppers that stops grain spilling forward and making a mess. Bigger hoppers are difficult to position and to fit beween silo legs, our hoppers simply strap to the auger so you can drive them through the gap. They are easier to handle and when used with the Hopper Mate should stop spillage leaving very little in the hoper to clean up when finished. NB/- Because the hopper is only 500mm wide (to fit between silo legs, you must raise the hopper as high as possible under the outlet to prevent grain spilling at the sides. (please share)

11.01.2022 It's cleaning time again. This is a pic of the rubbish (snails, radish and pods) from an infested canola crop using 2.3mm x 25mm main screens (usually used for feed barley).

08.01.2022 The first DE Engineers (24m long) Auto Sheep Feeder shown at Wagin Woolorama is now being installed in Ongerup. This feeder can draw feed from any source including field bins in remote locations and is 24v, solar powered. We had huge interest in the Auto Feeder with many comments on how our feed tray could stop larger sheep over-feeding leaving shy feeders without feed. All other auto feeders use an open trough.
07.01.2022 Sheep wont be able to open this silo outlet. We have used a small uni joint to lift the handle right up to the cone so let us know if you would like this on your new silos as it is an option.

07.01.2022 Time to go, 30t Ascanelli chase bin with independant axles, loadcells, front and rear steering $105,000 +gst $23,000 saving. This unit was specially designed with a longer auger for our larger field bins that also lifts up and down to suit truck height as well.
