23.01.2022 We are holding our annual Book Fair. Monday 16th November - Friday 20th November. This is a great opportunity for you to buy books for Christmas. Books will be available for viewing and purchase at the front gate 1/2 before pick up each session. Please practice COVID safe rules with hygiene and social distancing.

20.01.2022 De Garis Kindergarten is seeking a motivated and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join their team in 2021 working with a 4yr old funded group which offers Bush Kinder as part of their sessions. This is a part time position working across three days Monday to Wednesday. Suitably qualified person with an interest in this position can forward their application to de.garis.kin@kindergarten .vic.gov.au by Friday 4th December 2020.

14.01.2022 Tonight DeGaris Kinder staff attended a Health and Well-being session at Live Well Mildura. We participated in Yoga, learnt about healthy eating, made a yummy slice and had a tour of the Live Well premises. It was a wonderful and relaxing experience for all and incorporated aspects that we can take back to kinder to share with the children as well as looking after our own mental health and well-being.

13.01.2022 Today the Kookaburra group participated in Clean Up Australia Day! The children loved their own gloves and bags provided for the day, and enjoyed helping to clean up the streets around Kinder. #cleanupaustraliaday

08.01.2022 New fence for Kinder. More privacy and protection for the children.

07.01.2022 I know it's quicker if we put on our children's shoes and socks, carry their backpack, or do up their jackets. But it's important that children take their time ...learning these skills independently. In those busy mornings where we're all rushing and feeling flustered, of course help your children out. However, add shoes and socks into your dress up box on quiet days, or practice these skills on a Sunday morning when there is no rush. Yes it's slower for children while they're practicing these skills but the pride on their face when they achieve a new skill is worth the wait.

06.01.2022 Today the children visited Benetook Farms. We had an amazing morning feeding chickens, getting lost in the maze, picking strawberries and playing on the playground. A big thanks to SRS Benetook Farm for having us.
